Speaking of Question of sport.

According to Matt Dawson  the changes were done to attract a younger crowd.

Well as pointed out about think it was actually worse once they came in and I suggest less people watch it than before now.

HIGNFY - put this tedious dads jokes nonsense out of its misery

I’m confused why it’s still going, considering they canned mock the week. Mock the week obvs fell off a cliff but even the later ones I found a lot more watchable than HIGNFY.

Some terrible takes in here, I wont hear a bad word said about Ben Shepherd on Tipping Point, one of the few genuinely nice blokes on TV.

Also In for a Penny is one of the few shows that i actually find myself laughing at, Stephen Mulhern cracks me up.

Michael Mcintyre i find a little weird, agree with previous comment of stick to stand up. Feel similar with Gino Decampo, Family Fortunes is a strange watch with him as presenter. Stick to cooking at shows with Gordon Ramsey.

My answer to a show i wont watch anymore has already been mentioned, The Simpsons. The last few years you can see it has really dwindled. Classic Simpsons will always be amazing.

Crossroads, watched it as a kid with my mum and it really was bloody awful.

It would be pretty difficult to watch Crossroads 'again' as it was binned off in 1988, unless you've got all the episodes recorded on VHS.

Banger of a theme tune though.

Do you not like when someone has a different opinion to you?

No, do you?

It's just different. I'm not trying to argue.

John Prescott's passing reminded me of a brilliant joke on HIGNFY, back in the day when it was funny and the writing was on-point;

"John Prescott used to work for Cunard. He still works quite hard."

I don't think it is on currently but no doubt Casualty will be back soon for another 40 odd week run on prime time Saturday evenings. Was originally a drama but has long since been another soap.

I really enjoy this show. It's silly, it's ridiculous in the games but Mulhern is fantastic with the public and, importantly, the public they choose are fun to watch for so many different and unique reasons.

Some people bang on about TV shows being shit like we've still only got four channels though. I think the one thing about this is that a lot of the shows people will angrily shout they'll never watch again just aren't for you. I remember when Supermarket Sweep came back. I loved it as a kid in the 90s but about 10 mins in to the Rylan reboot I realised it wasn't aimed at me, my demographic or my tastes. That's alright though, cos it does cater for an audience and if it doesn't, it'll get canned.

My main reasons for never watching TV shows again is either over exposure, contrived, complex plots or my natural shift in TV tastes.

Casualty is great for playing a game of Guess How They Get Injured with the rest of the family. Long may it continue on our screens.

I was surprised when they canned Holby City over it. Granted I was a highly infrequent watcher but I thought Holby City had overtaken it.

Perhaps they’d simply exhausted the number of serial killers and Munchausens sufferers believably possible within a mid-sized British city.

I assume you've seen Eastenders, Corry, Emmerdale et al?

And they're just a couple of streets and a rural village. lol

Episodes available on youtube if you wanted some masochistic nostalgia.🤪 Theme tune less depressing than  Coronation Street I suppose.

My Dad's claim to fame is that he played in a charity golf day and got paired with Benny from Crossroads.

Beat that everyone.

Strictly come dancing. I've actually become phobic, can't be in the same room when it's on. Mrs Spud watches it as if it's the Olympics or something and hangs on every word uttered by the judges. That Tony Beak twat needs a punch up his 'Sarm-ba'. The contestants just embarrass themselves.

Can't stand the juvenile whooping and nonsense. Horrible programme that needs cancelling.

What's wrong with The Wheel?

Michael Macintyre, that's what. Shouting to try to sound excited. "SPIN THE WHEEEEEEEEEEL"

The premise is decent. He's the issue

Agree with this. Don't mind The Wheel as a bit of light entertainment, but that's in spite of McIntyre. The format is good, although it does hugely depend on who the celebrity guests are.

MOTD the way its going, rumours of Roman Kemp will just finish it for me. Most irritating guy on tv... got on thanks to daddy.

I'm a celeb, loved it once but it's been going stale for years.

Coronation Street, never known far fetched soap... well okay Eastenders maybe. But how can one street have so many affairs and murders... barely recognise anyone on it now. Not watched in ten years. Gets more stupid every year, with it's strange storylines. Won't be long till bring a time travel story line.. it's getting that daft.

Roman Kemp was co-host on BBC 606 last night, seems he's being groomed, for want of a better word, for MOTD.
