They have acknowledged the relegation.

Dont you remember the ‘this confirms our place in the Championship’ post?

I guess there have been no further messages from the board because there isn’t anything to say at the moment.  The club will be waiting for the new financial period before they sack Ruud (which I am sure they will be).  In the meantime, there is nothing for them to say.

What do you want the club saying to us?

Personally I’d like them to be saying something… even if it’s:

”Relegation is a huge disappointment to us all. The change in league and the financial impact that has upon the club gives us much to think about. We’re collecting our thoughts and making plans for promotion next year. Further updates aren’t practical until after the official change in league status happens on 6th June. All fans can rest assured that we share your frustration and are examining all aspects of the football club to ensure sustained success in the future. Enjoy your break, we’ll all be refreshed by mid August”

Just a simple “we can’t say much until admin dates have passed but be reassured we’re working on it”

Pretty sure it was under the American owners that they got relegated to league one.

Came in January or something didn’t they? Acknowledged some mistakes and put a lot right.

July the year before they got relegated. Famously came in and sacked Eustace 6 games into the season then signed big name Rooney.

They throw a lot of money around but I wouldnt call them good owners just yet.

There's an apathy that surrounds the club, from the ownership all the way to the fans. Even when we got relegated, there was no anger, just a shrug of the shoulders. I heard fans say, we're won the PL and FA cup, we've achieved everything. That ambition that Vichai had, has gone, Top would sell if he got a satisfactory offer.

Ahh yes my bad lol anyway, not saying I want American owners, I think the point was more sometimes you have to become affordable to investors (at your lowest low) before they come in.

I don’t honestly know where it is best to want new owners from.

Americans have the reputation of wanting to ‘Americanise’ the sport, play games abroad, revenue revenue revenue etc.

South-East (well south in general) Asian owners have proven themselves to be incompetent and in contempt of our communities and culture (see Chansiri, Vincent Tan, Dai Yongee, Venky’s, Aiyawatt and to a lesser extent Fosun who Wolves fans are turning against). I can’t think of a good owner from this area of the world.

Arab owners there is just the moral side even though they do run their clubs well.

Russian - absolutely not.

You just hope to find good individuals and I would still take our chances at finding an American owner who will not tear the club apart.

You can throw in "Billionaire Brit who turns on the austerity tap" into there too with Man United in mind lol

What do you want the club saying to us?

That they will run an internal investigation as to why we are being run into the ground, identifying who is responsible then ACTUALLY holding them responsible?!

At this point it really doesn't matter who our manager will be. You don't put new curtains up when your house is on fire. You put the fire out. The people who are running our club are the fire and Top is too busy running around with a gerry-can of unleaded to give any indication that he plans on doing anything about it.

What evidence is there of this where Americans have actually bought clubs?

I'd happily argue that King Power have tried to turn us into Thailand FC much more than any American owners have tried to "americanise" English clubs.

Liverpool, Man Utd and Chelsea for sure.

American owners are largely pretty effective because the push data and analytics. The worst USAUSAUSA antics are behind them Liverpool, Bournemouth, Wrexham, Birmingham, Palace are all getting it right currently

More people need to get their head around this. 98% of the world only care about themselves and are often in a bubble of self preservation, even if they preach otherwise. Let's be real, none of us are going to get our heads chopped off are we?

We'd probably have a few grumbles but everyone would get over it very very quickly.

The problem is, they can't make a statement like that because they are not "working on it ".

To be fair I said have a reputation of. I am of the belief that whilst there are a number of them (Birmingham owner talking about domestic cup games in America and the super league lot), that are like this, I do think there are plenty of good ones.

Probably shouldn’t have said just. I meant that the clubs seem to be decently ran, the fans are happy. But you have what they stand for, I.e the moral side, which I wouldn’t want associating with.

Not hard this is it... the old optics... just stick someone in front of a camera to outline some plans...

Doesn't even need to be that much; a press release, a statement, anything other than completely ignoring what is happening

I give example of American owner literally trying to move club to a super league to generate more revenue for themselves.

I'm not sure what more you want mate lol

If you want to claim the win that Liverpool haven't been Americanised because they didn't end up in a super league then that's fair. But I think you're missing a bigger picture on that.

Once they've got the magic 14, which they can't be far away from. They'll do the old boiling a frog in a saucepan trick, slowly introducing things so the fan's don't really even realise it's happening.

Their power will be in the collective.

Our owner is just an ignorant little **** who employs people that wont upset the applecart

He doesn't give a flying **** about the fans.

Americans can't help but speak, which ,might be an immediate improvement in terms of us actually knocking something at all about what is happening at the club.

Not that it's our club anymore in any way shape or form.
