Some people are not getting this so lets hypothetically assume it could happen (it can't).

Do you not understand that miracles are miracles because they are one in a million shots.  Well, one in 5,000 perhaps.

If any old Tom, Dick or Forest did it, it would downgrade our own achievement which shook the football world and I guard that closely, only for us.

Not only that, for one of our hated local rivals to do it...  No, no, thrice no!

What in the chromosomes is going on?

Still makes me irate the fact we missed out on CL twice before all the current free-for-all with Newcastle/Villa and now potentially Forest/Bournemouth even!

Could and should have won the conference league before West Ham too.

Had the golden opportunity to establish ourselves amongst the mix and compete. But this would be the nail in the coffin of our mismanagement under Rudkin & Co

If Forest winning the league guaranteed us staying up would you take it ?

It’s a good question but the answer has to be no.

And it’s not actually because of Forest. I would say no if it was Brighton, B’mouth, Fulham or whatever smaller club you can think of. I don’t want anyone to ever eclipse or even match what we did.  But it would eclipse us. Every year since 15/16 the league has gotten better.

I would honestly rather we went down. We would likely come back up anyway.

I get your point but don't tax your brain too much over it. We won the damn thing when none of even dreamt it so revel in that rather than what anyone else thinks

But every aspect of what you're saying is based on what other people would think if Forest won it.

Would it take away from your personal opinion of our achievement?

I'll make it clear, I'm not exactly cheering them on but I don't really care either way.

I'm not.  I'm perfectly zen about it because there's not a cat in hell's chance that it happens.

One aspect is that when Arsenal beat us everyone thought that was the start of the end of us but we were still top. Liverpool remain top tonight and can go again if they lose

Yes.  It would diminish it.

After all this chat about Liverpool, Arsenal and Forest imagine Man City come back and win the league again

There is a points deduction waiting for us in the Championship.  Don't assume that we will bounce back up.

It’s hard to take but we earned it and so have they.

Let’s just hope they’re just highly praised bridesmaids.

It's true. With a game in hand as well (albeit a massive banana skin fixture).

I'm less and less convinced they're that good. They're not as good as Man City at their best and to be honest I'm not even convinced they're as good as Arsenal were in the last couple of years.

Exactly this.

Liverpool should still finish the job from

here but some bad Forest form would put me at ease

Question is whether Forest are good enough to go all season without a wobble.

All this proves to me, is that after we not the league, we should have never changed our style.

You don’t beat the big boys by mimicking them.

I take this back, they got their attacking mojo back but Man City can't defend for shite.
