Really?, I find him quite dull, and a little irritating when i watch his interviews.  Zhao plays in a very entertaining way, all out attack.

I meant more entertaining than Selby and Higgins but didn’t word it that well tbf

Yes, Zhao is a great watch also

Anyone that wants someone involved in match fixing to win this needs their head checking. Come on Williams.

Zhao got very nervy in his last couple of frames against Ronnie before he got over the line. I think that could effect him big time if he starts to get close to it. The weight of winning it at such an early age and the expectations of his entire country on him might just be too much for him against the experience of Williams.

I thought he was about 21

Surprised he's 28, looks younger. Nice skin.

It's a little bit overblown this. He didn't fix any matches, nor any he actually played in. He knew it was going on and placed a couple of bets for his willy puller Chinese mates on their orders. That was it.

Probably would have been killed if he didnt.

These syndicates  dont play games.

Should have stood up to peer pressure a bit more, but pleaded guilty and took his ban. Don’t mind who wins this.

Exactly this.

If it was that big a deal I'm sure the other players would mention it more or refuse to play him.

Anyway just hope it's an epic final👍🏾

I’ve never took part in any kind of match fixing, or placed bets on a match fixing ring so in this instance, I am.

Yep, Phil Haigh from The Metro wrote some context on the situation this morning.

Neither do you my friend 👍🏻

But the authorities deemed he’d done enough to deserve a ban, so I’ll go with that.

And the authorities let him play AFTER his ban and Ronnie rates him and helps him so I'll go with that. 👍🏾

No doubting his ability. Fantastic player. The same way I don’t really want John Higgins to ever win anything.

I’m sure you’d be taking the same stance if one of our footballers got involved in match fixing and betting after they’ve served a ban :D

If the authorities ban a player and they serve their time and are accepted by their peers and fellow professionals then that'll do for me.

Love to know his skin regime.

No way can he be 28

Hindsight and all but I guess this was the worry

50 is far from “old” but when you’ve  had to get through the toughest match player thats ever played in a final frame decider and then the best player in the world and world number one just to get to this stage then at some point it’s gonna catch up with you.

Very disappointing final so far.

40th anniversary of the last ball black final, when Taylor was 8-0 down after first session. Williams comeback on the cards tonight?

I hope so! I can appreciate Zhao and his performance but I hate finals like this.

Off to the afternoon session tomorrow so half hoping this carries on the way it’s going. I do want Williams to win though so will be a shame.
