assuming El Khannouss leaves, Daisuke Yokota from KAA Gent might be an interesting player for the #10 role

He was on loan at Kaiserslautern (team I also follow) in the 2. Bundesliga this past season as he wasn't in the Genk manager's plans, but I was impressed by him. Great dribbling ability and shielded the ball well, and wasn't afraid to press and track back either.

Must be something about Japanese attacking midfielders playing in the German second tier, as I wanted Ao Tanaka from Fortuna Düsseldorf before Leeds signed him 😂

I don't know too much about him but what about Charlie Kelman from QPR. 27 goals in 61 games last season gor Orient and is only 23.

Priority has to be a striker.

No idea who that would be - ideally under 25, proven to score goals in the Championship or equivalent foreign division.

I wouldn't be surprised if we went in for Cameron Archer from Southampton. Fans would likely be underwhelmed but I think if supported by Bilal, Fatawu and BEK he'd score loads.

I'm not even sure if he'll be here at all next year, never mind TWICE!

I remember getting all gooey eyed hoping Fuchs would sign for Charlotte FC and blowing  every gasket I have when he did.. for Ageymang going the other way would finish me off! Dare to dream!

Obviously given PSR funds will be v. limited, but the key for next season will be recruiting a reliable striker (supported by Evans).

I wish I could have confidence in Top drumming up enough interest to tear himself away from the polo team to allow us to sign anyone; and for JR to properly negotiate a transfer that doesn’t cripple us completely.

Oh and for Susan Whelan just to wake up and do the job she is supposed to as club CEO.

You're right, I don't feel confident that any of that will happen.

Key positions are striker and central midfield.

Any “sensible transfers” you can think of for those positions?

obviously hard without a manager appointment confirmed.

I am still skeptical but what a bastard of a man

to be fair, even in the champ he might find he doesn’t have the time  to take that extra touch he seem to like to take..

No doubt he’s got ability but would be better to maybe sign him and loan him to Leuven or just straight to Leuven
