Have no idea why everyone’s treating Everton as the second coming of Guardiola’s Barca? They’re beatable. It’s a game we should be looking to win.

Please please please beat Everton.
can’t stand them one bit. Proper jammy dodgers. At the very least a point but we must go for the win!

Was a bit terrified by Coulibaly's cameo at the end of Spurs game:

Outfought winger to retrieve ball.

Ran forward

shit himself

ran back

gave ball away.

got in line with Faes and then let Mike Moore run off the back of him for their final chance which Stola saved but was marginally offside.

scared the living shit out of me as a cameo.

liked the physicality but he is raw as fook

To be fair, i think anyone would have been terrified coming on in that situation. Love the fact he won it back. Did think he was on the pitch for that save, but my memory escapes me.

Sequence from MOTD here of Coulibaly. 1 min on to the pitch. Faes is pointing and saying 'cover that ****er behind me'. Couliably body position is totally out vs the others (facing the opposite direction to all other defenders) and as such Mikey Moore runs off his blindside as the cross comes in. The only reason it wasn't the equaliser is a, he went marginally too early and b, Stola pulled off a worldy. Certainly no immediate judgement, but given he would have been sent on with 'stay in shape and don't given anything away' ringing in his ears, his way of lining up for the first cross he received is a worry....

Great unexpected result yesterday... but it will mean nothing if we don't come away with something against Everton even if its only a point.... they will be far more difficult than spurs

Apart from the fact that if we had lost against Tottenham, then a defeat to Everton would have left us 3 points worse off than having beat Tottenham.

It will be a different kind of game, but let’s not get carried away. Everton are better defensively than Spurs (they’ve conceded nine fewer goals) but they’re nowhere near as good in attack (they’ve scored 27 fewer goals than Spurs this season) - and they’ll very likely be without DCL on Saturday. Nobody is suggesting this game will be easy, but it is very winnable.

I don’t care how we win this but win we must. I’m just sick of pigfoot and his antics yeh he makes rediculous saves but I just wanna punch his face. That Ndai guy is there danger man very tricky and could make a mockery of farce and lurch if they are exposed. Keep him quiet and hit them on the breaks and we could get something out of this game. A win would make my entire month happy!

Big one, win and we’re 3 behind them although I doubt they’ll get dragged into it.

Ipswich playing Southampton as well and a tough game for Wolves against Villa

Wolves have 3 tough games coming up, we need at least 6 from the next 4 games, obviously more points would be good. If Any of the other bottom 4 go on a run of wins now, then we are done for.

We have two very winnable games in Feb, getting points in March looks tricky, April even tougher but Wolves very winnable as are last 4 games vs Soton, Ipswich, Forest and Bournemouth who should both be on the beach by then

I see that as the defender keeping an almost perfect line with the rest of the back four and letting his attacker stray 3 yards offside.

If he’d have stayed goalside I’d be worried

They aren't that good but have the Moyes bounce. A win will drag them back in and potentially Spurs

Wish people would stop saying this. They've just gone to Brighton and won, with a clean sheet.

Moyes knows what he's doing, his recent job at West Ham shows that, he's not some sort of manager on a "lucky bounce".

Everton are beatable but they can also hurt us too because we're not good either.

No McNeil, No Calvert-Lewin, they shouldnt be over running us. just stick someone on Ndiaye.

He is their main danger man for sure. Knowing our luck he will be rubbish but someone like doucoure will get a brace. I liked the way we kept our momentum up all game against spurs. Do that again and I think we can win this. Another big game from Bilal and soumare will be welcome.
