I'd tell quite a few of them to find a new club in the next 24 hours as they won't be in the 25 man squad. And if they don't leave they will still be employed by us as the most expensive bar staff and hot dog sellers in the various concourses. Let them face the fans!

They’d even f**k that up, they’d have half a bread roll between two sausages and Vestergaard would be so slow it would be cold by the time he handed it to you.

If you spend the game singing "we're fuching shit" and booing and slating the players" fair play you've paid your money you've traveled down do what you like but you can't then claim to be angry and confused about not getting thanked for your support in my opinion.

But surely the responsibility lies with the players to not be ****ing shit. The fans are calling it as it is. If 2 times in the first 10 minutes they **** up with some utterly school boy defending when these players are on 50k a week, what exactly do the players expect?

The fans travel at huge cost up and down the country to watch these clowns, people who work hard for 40 hours a week, people who have this as part of their weekend entertainment and 'enjoyment'.  The very least these ***** can do is get the basics right and try. Our fans aren't unreasonable, if the player give their all on the pitch the fans will acknowledge that, I don't think these players can honestly say they have given thir all today.

Players deserve ****ing pelters.

That was single handed most pathetic performance I’ve seen for years. I’ve never really been an advocate of booing, but this lot really need to know, they’re not fit to wear the shirt. This is comfortably the worst ensemble of shit we’ve probably ever had….. you can’t even use a hopeless lack of talent, because that shouldn’t be an excuse…. There are some who just don’t give a shit, which is even worse.

I don't think our fans will necessarily acknowledge that. Our squad is one of the bottom three based on ability. We are where we should be in the table on talent. They are making mistakes because they are not quite good enough. It's not all just about not trying or that they should be playing better because they earn x amount of money per week more than the rest of us.

I am not saying they shouldn't get booed and slated. I just find it funny that there is about 14 threads on the board abusing players and staff. Booing and taking the piss inside the ground. Then a handful of sensitive souls in here getting worked up because they haven't been "thanked" 🤣 you can't have your cake and eat it.

Zero athletic ability. No explosive power: can't burst, turn or jump

I've said in other threads his crap should be sold in the summer as well, even in the champ he would struggle, the only ting does good is whip a decent ball every now and again, but some werid reason most our fanbase rate him  because "he runs around alot" and he "shows some effort" that should be the bare minimum off a pro player nothing special at all

Spot on. Can't expect the players to like the fans if any of them happen to read this forum!

They wouldn't be coming over to thank the fans, they would be coming over to apologise after a very poor performance.

Personally if I were Faes, Vestergaard etc I would be embarrassed by the fact that I'm being paid PL wages whilst also letting down the fans with performances like that and would try whatever small act I could to improve that relationship but maybe that's just me.

Hmm. How should supporters react to today's performance, or to this season for that matter?

I'm sorry but that defending today, a group of school kids could do better. In fact it's insulting to school kids.  The squad isn't great but some of it is so basic, at least make it hard, we are so easy to beat. Put tackles in run, make blocks, be good a set pieces, kick people, run, run, run you don't need to be talented to do some of that, you see pub teams defend against Premier league teams in the FA Cup, sometimes it's about, desire, mentality and attitude. We aren't showing that from the 1st minute. It's so basic these guys are international defenders supposedly. Keep it tight frustrate.

I mean I personally give zero ****s what these entitled bellends think and I'd tell them. They are piss weak, it's not maybe a thanks, more an acknowledgement, even a demoralised sorry for the shower of shit they served up but no - off down the tunnel back to their overpaid entitled protected from reality little world.

They are responsible for everything they get, their entitlement is endemic of their piss weak mentality and lack of accountability. Its always someone elses fault, oooh the 'nasty fans' not the fact your defending was national league stadard! They can serve that shit up week in week out get paid and yet still next year they will be getting paid, probably by us as I doubt anyone else is dumb enough to buy some of this lot.

You know how they can fix it, train, get the basics of defending right, win tackles, be first to the ball use strength, read the ****ing game! Just ****ing run, press, kick if all else fails. Not this lame half assed jogging and pointing to blame someone else.

Mate, this is ****ing bollocks.

This squad has a lot of premier league experience in it, Vesty, Faes, Justin, Winks, Ayew, BDR, Vardy, Skipp and Ndidi are all experienced players, some of whom have played in Europe, at Euro’s and world cups…… don’t be fooled by the score line, Everton’s team is just as lacking as ours, but there’s just a complete lack of fight in this team, and most of them don’t give a shit.

If you lack quality, you sure as hell make sure you don’t lack endeavour and effort, that’s what is the most hurtful thing, they’re not even trying, once we’re beaten, we’re ****ing beaten

They are still one of the three worst squads in the league though. No matter how much experience is in there. We were 4/9 favourites to be relegated at the start of the season. It's no surprise to me that we are struggling. The trouble with a lot of our fans though, is they can't accept where we are now and have unrealistic expectations of where we should be.

We are in the mix and can still stay up. The job will be a whole  lot harder if the fans don't try to help out. Fair enough, boo and voice opinions at the end of the match, but slating players during a game is never going to help.

However, fans are entitled to do what they want, just like players are if they don't want to clap the fans.

Shrug, and say never mind, it's only a bit of football stuff

Maybe go for "constructive criticism"? Could try the classic "sh1t sandwich" approach? "Vestergaard tried really hard today. It's a shame that so many goals came from his lack of mobility and surprising physical weakness, but he tried very hard."

The first half against Wolves should've been the jolt, the wakeup call. If they had any bottle or self respect those 45 minutes would've been the turning point. As it wasn't, the conclusion is they just don't have the ability or fitness to play at this level. Or they don't give a toss. Either way, there is absolutely no excuse for the lack of effort and haphazard approach. Shameful, get out of our club. Enough's enough.
