I know we've got five pages of hysteria because everyone's upset we aren't buying Brazilian regens but let's be honest this is just straight horse trading for PSR. We don't play Coady, we aren't gonna play Dawson, we're just going to pay each other a small fee and mess about with contracts to tinker with the books. The squad is no weaker or stronger. You say that but let's be real. If he comes here you just know he'll be straight in to the team

TheGoldenGod Posted 3 February 2025 Posted 3 February 2025 (edited) Make no bones about it, this is nothing more than a PSR workaround. Both probably won't play so we now live in a world where transfers are being done not even to have any impact on the pitch whatsoever. Also how has it come to pass that clubs (including us) can seemingly make better transfers in the championship then the Premier League🤣. Football is backwards. SK3Blue Posted 3 February 2025 Posted 3 February 2025 Rudkin…”Hi Craig it’s Jon, we can do 60k a week on a 3 year deal” Dawson “That’s fantastic Jon” Rudkin “we’ll be slotting you in alongside Wout Faes okay…..” Rudkin “ Craig……Craig?? You still on the line….Craig”

Fair play to you (Wolves I mean) - Bin off a useless manager and get a decent one in - Inexplicably have Cunha available for 2x winnable matches, which he single handedly wins on his own - Beat a fellow relegation battler who Inexplicably decide to pick a Conference level goalkeeper in net - Villa's goal disallowed for no legitimate reason - swoop in and steal only player with any visible leadership qualities from relegation rival, who also happens to be a club legend for Wolves they've had a mare with ffp & var over the years but its been quite the 6 weeks for them 1
CrispinLA in Texas Posted 3 February 2025 Posted 3 February 2025 Don't mind Coady going back to Wolves.....he obviously loves them 1
FosseSpark Posted 3 February 2025 Posted 3 February 2025 fair play to Wolves. better run club than us currently. 1

HankMarvin Posted 3 February 2025 Posted 3 February 2025 Must need a sweetener to be leaving the spa facilities
Gazza M Posted 3 February 2025 Posted 3 February 2025 Would prefer in addition to Coady so we can park Vesty and Faes in the u21's.

Mickyblueeyes Posted 3 February 2025 Posted 3 February 2025 If Dawson's legs have not gone, its a good move. He has more about him than Vestegaard and Faes put together. He is also talker and a leader. Great in the air in both boxes. That ball over the top on Saturday (which one you ask ? ALL OF THEM) doesnt go straight through with him there. Using the Foxes Trust tagline, we are where we are - his legs are a massive thing but if they havent, and putting aside the ridiculously long contract we are about to give him, he is an upgrade on Coady, Vestegaard and Faes. 3
AKCJ Posted 3 February 2025 Posted 3 February 2025 4 minutes ago, Finnegan said: I'm sorry but let's not pretend Coady is any loss at all Not a loss to us but Wolves will probably see it as a win to get rid of a 35 year old centre back and replace him with one 4 years younger that is a club legend.
daddylonglegs Posted 3 February 2025 Posted 3 February 2025 3 minutes ago, Finnegan said: I'm sorry but let's not pretend Coady is any loss at all The loss is the fact that Wolves will gain from him. And whether its worked or not, he's at least given the impression of having leadership qualities (Admittedly he has shat on those qualities with the Copenhagen debacle & being a bit shit on the footballing side).
