As a fan I’d happily forget about this season, but will the board want to operate in such manner, I guess we’ll have to wait and see, but we’re in Dean Smith type territory again. You either go down that same route again, or you sack RVN and just give it Barry-Murphy until the end of the season.

But what’s the long term vision at this club? We get relegated and turn to another possession heavy manager like Russell Martin just because it worked last time?

I fear that we’ll just become a yo-yo club again, or end up like Norwich and Watford are currently.

We may not be able to afford to sack RVN now, but it wouldn’t surprise me if there is a clause in his contract that enables us to get rid of him cheaply if we get relegated. So he may cling on until that is confirmed.

Martin would be an incredibly unpopular appointment and I just can’t see the club going out of its way to further piss off a very unhappy fanbase. Who that leaves us with I have no idea…

Those asking why is he sticking with BDR and Ayew. It’s a simple tactic to show the board why they should have invested in the team in January.

Stubborn behaviour and I fully get it

Whilst I agree with this. I honestly think you might be giving them too much credit, forward planning and understanding it's own fanbase are two of our achilles heels 😅

Mate they were not thinking they were playing to qualify for Europe.

The remit was safety, let’s just say they had a lot more confidence early November, than they do getting trounced week in week out not scoring.

It’s just another excuse, like we were missing Ndidi and Mads

Well it’s all a game of opinions, and in mine, the games we’ve looked most confident, have been under RVN, and we lost.

That's really stupid if that was the case. He's putting his own future job prospects at risk and the club in a ridiculous position. Why do all that if you want a job in management. It makes no sense. He's doing because he thought he got a response when we went 80 mins without conceding against arsenal.

It's poo situation, I know but I don't buy into this theory as it doesn't make sense from a lot of angles. I just don't think he knows what to do and his interview after the game kinda reinforces my thoughts.

We're down whatever the truth and that is on the people who employed Cooper and RvN. I've certainly had enough of RvN now. I tried to get behind him, but that was the straw for me. The players are in the beach now.

Vardy is part of the issue.

Possibly so, it might be better if he was in a different role now mind...for the best interests of the club, so it's not about him!

You will not believe what goes on behind the scenes and some of the reasons as to why some players aren’t playing…

The little baby billionaire chose his man and surprise surprise he's completely and utterly out of his depth.

Like most of the key position holders at the club .

Sorry, I meant, when people are picking starting 11s and wondering why players aren’t playing etc

A lot more than just picking the 11 best players

Martin would indeed be an unpopular appointment, but I just fear they’ll go down the dominate possession route again, just because it worked so well last time.

Who ticks that box…Russell Martin

What’s the point jan has gone and there is nothing anyone can do about that now sticking with them to make a point if that is what is happening would be complete idiocy

Nobody wanted to come we were favourites for relegation. He got his 3rd choices and when he left we could score and were 15th. I don't believe in luck. You make luck we even fought  our way back in the odd game but some people couldn't get past the forest connection or see the board knew tic tac football wouldn't work and we needed a slogger to just keep us up this season playing ugly football.

RVN is twice as bad as Cooper.

it had nothing to do with forest, I get why pundits who don't even know how to spell Leicester say that but how do some of our supposed fans think that? people weren't having him because he was absolutely shit, from preseason you could already see it wasn't going to work, no tactical plan, no strategy beyond loading us up with expensive old players already proven not good enough at this level. we were outplayed by ****ing Russell Martin's Southampton until they had a clear penalty missed and a man sent off for Christ's sake

A lot of social media noise saying he's gone? Any truth into it or anyone reliable saying anything?

Nothing yet, as silly as this may sound I think the unexpected Wolves win has caused more panic. Reality has hit home, I'd imagine alot of conversations are happening.
