Like many on here I pass my physical card to friends if I can't go to a game.

I have no idea how digital season tickets work.  Is it somehow linked to your own phone, meaning that the only way someone can use your season ticket is if they borrow your phone?  Or is it done via logging in to your account, meaning you could tell a friend your password and they could log in to your account and use your ticket?  Or is it a QR code that can be screenshotted and texted to a friend?

My account still has me and my 2 sons on it (how age 19 and 15) - the only contact details on my account (email, phone etc) are mine, so how would that work if the lads went to a match without me?

It's annoying that we can't ask the club these questions because we're all breaking club rules by passing STs around!

Strictly speaking mobile tickets are NFC and so are linked to your mobile device and therefore cannot be shared.  However they currently also carry a Q code that allows entry and these can therefore be shared, I suspect at some point these will either be withdrawn or they will automatically refresh regularly and then they wouldn't be able to be shared.

The club do though allow you to pass on your ST up to 5 times a year to anyone who has an account. You can also re-sell them, through the club,  up to 5 times a year

As for your kids, is it not time for them to have their own accounts.

Also interested to know. Since I’ve moved away I struggle for midweek games so my mum goes with my dad (I know, how awful of me!) been doing this without an issue for 15 years. My old man in his 70s would not go on his own or if forced to sit by a stranger.

Current thought is to by cheapest phone possible with a wallet for the sole purpose of this

The club have confirmed that anyone with only an analogue phone (unless under 16, over 65, or disabled) can no longer have a season ticket.  This seems very unfair to me.

For some reason I can’t forward my kids U12 season tickets but I can mine? Ticket office is helpfully closed. Anyone any ideas or would screen shot of QR code definitely work?

Someone in this thread says a screenshot of a QR code works, but I’m not sure, because I tried to do that for a flight once.  I sent everyone in the group a screenshot of the QR code for their ticket, but the scanner wouldn’t accept it, so I had to show the original email for everyone .  Something to do with the very slight blurring that occurs when you screenshot.

I’ve just accidentally downloaded my season ticket in to my wallet on my iPhone. I have been using a physical card. If I keep my digital card in my wallet, will I still be able to use my physical card? Could I in theory switch between the 2 and say use the physical card one game then the digital the next? Could be handy to know if I forget the card or phone runs out.
Thank you.

Yes mate, I did this a few times last season. You can use either for any game

With digital season tickets, do you download the season ticket to your wallet at the start of the season and use it for the whole season of home games?  Or do you get a new download for each match?

The same ticket refreshes after each match

So can you download it to a different device each week?

It automatically updates on the same device I believe rather than a download..

Once you choose a phone to download your ticket onto, it will stay on that device, and the next game ticket will automatically appear shortly after the current game ends. That works OK.

You can't easily transfer tickets to other people from your wallet (at least, not on an iphone) but it is possible if you set them up as a 'friend' on the LCFC website and then use the website to forward the ticket on to them (they don't need to be a member, but they do need to provide their DOB, address, email and phone number). They will get a sent a link that will download the ticket you have shared with them onto their own phone (and it reverts back to you once they have used it). You can only do this five times a season.

If it sounds like a ball ache, that's because it is. And if you are in the family stand, you basically have to ring them to do anything.

iPhone - go to the 3 dots in a circle at top right , then 'pass details ' there is your QR code.

Got 2 guest tickets to ‘bring my squad’ on Sunday. I’d downloaded them to my phone but after an update today they have disappeared from the wallet. When I click on the link on the email again or try and download from my profile on the website it says no permission as I have already downloaded. Anyone got any ideas how I manage to get hold of the tickets now that I’ve already paid for????
And I’m being forced onto this for my ST next year, doesn’t give me much confidence…
