Fair enough if you are certain that nobody receives a reply when they then do give a valid reason, just thought I would check I had remembered that right as it would seem a strange thing to criticise otherwise.

It did make me laugh when I received one of these for not going to Brentford though.

We had a fan break their leg once which meant he couldn’t travel to games with his dad. We’d just signed a new club travel partner, some private car company. I spoke to the commercial team and to them and said “do you want some PR…”

They door to door serviced Callum and his dad that weekend.

Thats not altruistic at all but the fans won, the car company won, the commercial team won. It’s so easy if you genuinely care.

Are we the only club that has a Head of Fan Engagement who doesn't actually engage with the fans? Just puts out a 'Fan Engagement Plan' to tick a box

Anthony’s lap dog basically. Employed to sell widgets in Thailand. That’s not her fault, she may have been miss sold the job but aye, it’s all too comfy behind a desk and meetings at Seagrave.

You have to be prepared to get your hands dirty.

Go back to getting pissed with your mates and having a laugh...

Fully on board with not buying anything though and giving any extra.

You'll be back IF we're towards the top of the championship next season

Ok if that works for you. What about the fans who don't care about that, and just want to watch the football?

The club is at a seriously low point and lot of people can't just brush it off. Different people will deal with it how they want. I for one decided to stop attending after Brentford. This lot are a total waste of time, money, energy.

I actually like a pot of Pringles, my only gripe with them is the further down the tube you get, it becomes near impossible to stick a hand in, unless you’re Jeremy Beadle…….

In terms of my war against Pringle’s and pre packed posh sandwiches, is a couple who sit near me (they’re actually quite pleasant), always in their latest Leicester city merchandise and every half time a flask of soups emerges, along with a small pot of Pringles “sour cream & onion” being the choice, they have a system where she has one, and he has one….. all of this is followed by a Marks and Spencer’s sandwich chaser….. after a hard day of clapping a banner in silence, they leave every weekend win, lose, or draw on 80 minutes, they leave to beat the traffic so they can get home to watch Britain’s got talent.

And recently when there were murmurings of anti board chants, the classic “remember when we were in league one” phrase came out…… boils my piss.

Yeah that's fine but leave the Pringles alone! They've done nothing wrong. They are an innocent party in all of this!

I won't.

The fact you can't see it's more than just being a bit shit is incredible.

I can't be arsed to try and make you lot understand anymore either.

You can’t seem to accept that your opinions aren’t everyone else’s. You won’t be going, that’s your choice. Others will use their choice and go. You’re very patronising and full of your own self opinionated importance .

To be fair she's asked to meet UFS in the next couple of weeks to discuss the framework in general. Whether it'll change anything is another matter.

Tbf I know of one dude who was asked to sit in his actual seat at Boro snow game 2013, he said there's 20k empty seats so I'll sit where I want. Argument with the steward ensued, vowed never to come back and has stuck to it to this day. Missed the title, Europe etc etc. Now that is a person with some guts/insane lengths of ego which I morbidly respect, a lot.

The rest of course will make a huge song and dance of not going for a few years then will be going again within a few years.

Long overdue in my books. Hope this goes well and they come in with a positive attitude to work with fans, not just in the interest of the club/business side of things.

A year on…..facing relegation and falling season ticket sales the mask starts to slip.

Whole thing should never have been agreed to by the Trust back then. In a season of disasters so much could’ve been prevented with some fan power.

When people say "the players don't give a fxxk", are you not just confusing that with "the players are ****ing shit". Cos I'm not sure any amount of giving a fxxk is turning them into good players.

They’re both shit, and don’t give a ****.

I mean I wouldn't hold your breath. We've attended dozens of these meetings over the years and only a tiny handful have been really fruitful.

It’s all well and good having this point of view, but the reality is we shouldn’t be shit….. the amount of success we’ve had and funds we’ve generated in the last decade should at the very least see us on the periphery of Europe. The fact we’re now facing a second relegation in three years is absolutely hideous….. the club can blame PSR all they want, that doesn’t mask the fact there have been a string of catastrophic, amateur errors that have led to our demise.

Celebrate being shit when we are shit, but we can’t celebrate anything here, this is desperate, and unless we get our arse into gear, quickly we will be just another former champion lost to the depths of the football league, slumming it out with Bolton and Notts County.

Mars (who own Pringles) purposely do this, they were going to change their tin design years ago but kept it. Humans get more satisfaction and end up eating more Pringles as they are harder to get which makes you want them more

Sorry, off topic

boycotting the rest of the season, if Im honest im tempted too, this season has totally drained me

going to games watching the players put in little to no effort at all,

the total mismanagement on and off the field

dont get me wrong, Ive already renewed my ST for next season,

if it looked like the players actually gave a shit then i dont think it would have been as bad, but they strut about like peacocks thinking they are top dogs

not a single humble, do the graft player in that squad, yet they are still getting paid X amount a week and we have to put time, effort money into watching them

But

WE MISSED YOU AT THE LAST GAME…

Is there anything you'd like to tell us about why you weren't able to attend?

Had this twice this season, this is the trouble with digital tickets, they’re collecting data all the time, what time you enter, when you can’t make a game.

I haven’t replied to the email but I’ve got a few choice words to type if I ever did, they’re not worth the effort though.

Got a feeling next season could be my last.

I think collecting data can be useful for a business and for the consumer if it’s used for the right reasons, however as I’ve said above they only message you to pester you into using the selling platforms.

Its not fan engagement it’s sales.

What the fvck is wrong with Pringles man

Too right, leave the crisps out of it. Crisp munching, beer guzzling, potty mouthed over the hill old gits like me, are not the problem here.

Now those that come with a packed lunch from m&s, that's a different story.... That I can get on board with. :-)
