as of now no links to MLS

he's not on any clubs discovery player list. if a player is on a teams discovery list they get first right to speak and offer contract to the player.  if the player chooses another club in mls then the club who signs the player has to make payment to the team who had the player on the discovery list.

inter miami have kevin de bruyne on there's apparently

the lists are not published.  just information about players and who's discovery list they are on comes out once and a while.

Will be interesting if Vards does an interview in the summer and the truth comes out about why he left, was it his own decision, was he forced out or was it more of a mutual agreement in the best interests of the club longer term. Until that happens it’s hard to tell.

My own personal opinion is that he will have expected similar terms or even if reduced probably still £100k+ a week and the club agreed if we stay up he stays but if relegated then it’s no longer sustainable. I wouldn’t be shocked if this ‘agreement’ had been discussed and in place for some time, hence why Vardy looked so disconsolate when we had lost games to Fulham, Palace, Man United etc at home and it had become

clear relegation and the end of his time at LCFC was looming.

If there is any truth in the reports Rudkin has had any influence in this as he feels undermined would suggest he is going nowhere.

He's right to leave.  He's given the club the best years of his football life.  While finishing his career here would have been preferable he can see the ills in the club that will prevent him achieving any more.  There are members of the current squad who aren't fit to lace his boots.  All the best to him wherever he goes.

Which pose tho cupping the ears, 11th heaven, sliding the corner flag showing the spuds fans they have no EPL titles ?

Actually been hearing he may be going to Wrexham ?

For much of his time at City he's been left wanting the kind of service Mahrez gave him in the Pearson/Ranieri era. Had he gone to Arsenal his reputation would have been international. As it is, his reputation as the greatest ever is never going to be eclipsed at City. Despite the growing numbers of detractors who've wittered on about him losing his powers and about his pay packet, in reality he's still an effective Premier striker. The club has let him down by not getting him the kind of assistance he needed - making mediocre buys at inflated wages. I suspect he's just had enough of the incompetence and self-interest of those running the club and it's resulting current demise. Shame he couldn't retire here with the club secure in the Prem.

I really cannot see how they can afford him, if we deem his wages to be too expensive and barring in mind we have parachute payments to cushion it, then I think he will be way too rich for any other championship clubs.

I can see him at a club like Newcastle, Everton, even Chelsea or Man City as a fairly cheap option as impact sub and occasional rotational selection. Or failing that he think he will end up in the MLS or even Saudi perhaps a reunion with Riyad would make great PR story.

Were there actually any reports, or was it just idle speculation on here?

Whilst I wouldn't begrudge him any move, Chelsea would make me sick to the stomach.

They are everything that is wrong with the modern game imo, and seeing them tap up so many of our players from the last decade,  really bugs me.

He'll take whatever is the best offer for him and his family,  but I really hope its outside this country.

I know it won’t be a popular opinion, however I know he’s our greatest ever player. I just hope within my lifetime, someone else eclipses him.

He left because he is a clueless cucking funt.   And I don't mean JV9

I’ve been thinking about this a lot the last couple of days. I think Vardy is one of the most loyal players we could’ve wished for, and I reckon he would’ve happily retired here.

But the rot in this club has probably got so bad that it must be so bad to play here that even he wants out.

Thanks Top, useless runt.

Not sure there's too much to read into it.

Hes too old and too ineffective whilst on an absurd wage.

I think its the right time for everyone for him to part ways.

The butt ends there.

I hear Top thinks Peter Taylor would be a good fit for the gaffers post.   He sees his name regularly here!

Best of luck to Jamie Vardy for the future. A shame he’s leaving at the end of such a shite season but not his fault and anyway I think I’m right in saying that he’s still our highest scorer.

Although I was predicting Como.. the more I think about it.. the more Wrexham makes sense.. which would make me absolutely sick

Could offer Vardy a brilliant package with all sorts of commercial addons.. would immediately become their star man considering their super Paul Mullin isn't considered anymore. Play it as if they've poached him off us and have a couple years building a profile in America and being a hero... or stay in the EPL on someone's bench being a noone?

Bloody hope he goes abroad 🤞

Same. If he goes there and they get promoted and we stay down, it’ll be a hard pill to swallow.

Unless you are very young I doubt it.

I actually think I maybe dead before this club stays up in the Premier League again, it’s going to be a good 10 years before we even compete imo. Such is the damage done by the clueless **** running the club.

Exactly.. the only way he goes there is for lucrative offer and increased earnings outside of football though surely.. tiktok, Disney etc he could rake it in without the need for a massive salary.. and set him up for further revenue after football

On a side note. Watching them now.. seeing the two Ryan's and Blake jumping for joy, seeing how much it means to them.. not just a financial investment, makes me dislike Top even more... apart from clutching that FA Cup he looks like he don't care.. good to see owners like that.

I can't see how we avoid being a yoyo club again or just staying down myself either.. other than a new owner with decent contacts for sponsorships etc

I don't want a fanzone, hotel and a tidy area around the stadium when the football is what you'd see on a park.. just with less desire.. absolute shitefest
