This is a hint? 👀

I suggest Rohl buys his contract out sharpish because it looks like we are being tighfisted. Happy to spend £25m on Skipp, but £2m for a manager, nah.

You would have Wilder over Dyche

I'm keeping away from this thread, I can't take anymore :surrender:

I don't really want either if I'm honest.

But Dyche the dinosaur, with his defensive, lack of youth in favour of "experience" style.

Or Wilder who will at least try and go forward and attack on the transition.

Oh, see ya in a bit on other threads bud...

You’d implied on multiple occasions it was done and the club was taking a while to announce?

We were exactly the same with Corberan and his staff.

We paid an actually fee for Ayew, too. Unreal.

We've been talking to Rohl for ages - the club want him, he wants to be here, i don't know what the hold up is but clearly its either us being tight and banking originally that Wednesday would end up having to release Rohl for nothing or at least assuming that it wasn't going to be this messy contractually. I said I'd been told we'd been speaking to Rohl for 10 days and we were willing to pay the release clause, not my problem if one or other party is dragging heels or Lawyers are getting involved.

He's still our man - clearly putting names like Wilder in the mix to force things along. If anything it looks more like Wednesday are dragging things along than us this time.

Do you really think even what the higher ups say at the club is full-proof - for instance, telling RVN he'd have money to spend etc etc. The clubs hierarchy is clearly full of liars and bullshitters. My man isn't lying, he's passing on what he knows - number 1 target is Rohl, we've held talks for ages, club was willing to pay release clause, pretty much done. Is it bombproof, evidently not, did anyone expect Rohl to still be in Sheffield at this point regardless of us having seen what's going on there with players handing in their notices, no, they didn't.

I’m very appreciative of the information you give mate, I don’t lose sleep over it. But let’s be honest with each other you have stated on multiple occasions the deal is done.

if I remember you also said you expected it to be announced within 48 hours at the beginning of the week because it was done….

My point is your tone is very different.

Apparently the club have told rohl he’s got to pay £10 to watch the match on foxes player tomorrow, rohl has told them to **** off and don’t contact him again.

Like I said, deal looked done, both us and Rohl want it and we were paying the fee. Expected an imminent announcement but clearly the Legal issues with Rohl and Wednesday are causing a delay - i don't know the ins and outs of those issues but nobody is expecting Rohl to still be on Sheffield Wednesday books at this point so there's clearly some sort of technicality which is causing everyone a nightmare. If Rohl gets out of his contract, he's here, its as simple as that. I think everyone would have assume it wouldn't be this hard to get him out of Sheffield, what else can I say. This is the now modern murky world of football - look at us and the BCGame shit - dodgy legal issues seems to be the thing now.

What I don’t understand is if we are willing to pay the fee then what is the hold up?

We’re ****ing terrified of PSR. So we think we’re being clever by playing the long game to get a heap deal.

It tells you everything you need to know about us as a club at the moment. ****ing pathetic. It’s precisely why we’re in a ****ing mess. I was told about a week ago we had opened talks with Rohl. And yet here we are. Still no manager and the first pre season game this weekend…. ****ing pathetic. **** off Top, and sell up to someone with an ounce of leadership.

Why do people get so eat up with "ITKs" when they get stuff wrong/their story hasn't materialised yet? lol

I’ve only been on here for a few years, but all of the ITK posters from when I joined have all been chased out of here because people get in a Tanti if it doesn’t materialise straight away.

This makes sense and agree that even I wasn't expecting Röhl to be still at Sheffield Wednesday at this point. It makes sense that there is radio silence and no movement on manager as we await the situation to be solved. I think it's their chairman being a twonk and difficult, not releasing him so our plans are distributed as well by taking so long.

I'm keeping the faith on this for now as if it was anyone else, we would have sorted it by now.

I just hope we don't have a wanting Röhl and then ending with Wilder situation as we get frustrated with Wednesday's owner. I'd be fuming if that happens.

Edit - and a proud moment for me....taking this thread to page 100.
