Having spoken recently with a very well respected journalist, we may well want Rohl but we also have this notion we need an experienced manager to sort the player culture at this club. Once again the club don't have a strong vision, they're undecided.

An experienced manager might well be out of kilter with the mass of academy players emerging, so this really is critical they get this appointment right and it's worrying we're probably once again at the mercy of agents presenting the candidates for us to be easily convinced by Top and Rudkin.

Experience means Wilder or Dyche I'm guessing? Dyche out the two would be preferred but not one of rave about.

It really is ran by people who really don't know what they are doing! I'm sure there are foreign coaches that could achieve both, but they are too short sighted or don't have the knowledge to look or enquire. It's also worrying they're not seeking help, that is a level of arrogance that isn't needed. If you don't know, find people that do!!;

We are so desperate for a competent DoF and it's so obvious.  We're gonna be left behind very quickly if this isn't sorted soon. Praying Röhl situation can be  sorted, but fear it'll be douche bag Wilder

The bit that makes me smile the most with Ric’s post is that Top and Rudkin think an experienced manager will sort the culture out, when in fact the issues at the club stem from the pair of them constantly paying way over the odds for mediocrity and also being readily available to the players to listen to their moans and groans whilst undermining the manager.

Perhaps if they want change the culture stop buying shite, do a better job of identifying players with good attitudes and character and most importantly stop trying to be best mate to the players, that is what is damaging the culture, because rest assured if Dyche or Wilder did come in and start ruffling feathers then they have both got to be strong enough to tell the players to accept it and get on with it, but I bet they don’t they will listen, sack them and bring in someone who the players like.

it’s a simple equation, there isn’t a need to appoint an experienced but limited manager just to sort out the culture just hire the best candidate regardless of age, rest assured hiring a good manager will get the squad engaged and then let the new manager identify and remove any bad eggs.

It shouldn’t be we want Rohl but let’s go for Dyche because he will shout and scare a few. Hire the best manager and the rest will take care of itself.

I can't agree enough!

Weak weak weak from the owner.

He's happy to bask in the glory when we win the league two years ago but doesn't have the bollocks (nor the ability to speak the language well enough let's face it) to front up and tell the players that he employs to do their job.

No one will convince me that King Power will turn this around here. It's just decline until they leave for us.

Hilarious when you consider a lot of the player culture was created by the owner himself

Yeah, what happens when the players don't like the experienced, hard line manager and his approach?

Some more absolutely top draw posts over the past hour or two just further emphasising how badly ran we really are and how much of a travesty it is that their aren’t mass and consistent protests against these muppets.

what I fail to understand with some of our fans, are they totally blind to the complete mess we seem to be behind the scenes

The club being undecided on a strategic plan/vision back in March/April would be bad enough.

Being undecided in July, with the season kicking off in 5 weeks time is unforgivably bad

There is a difference between having a vision or strategic plan and being able to make it become reality.

I am not even sure he comes to us if/when he manages to negotiate his exit from Wednesday.

Isn’t that where an experienced man comes in alongside Rohl? Like Chris Powell has been mentioned.

TBF the KPFC diehards are definitely a minority largely on Facebook

Its the much wider chunk of the fanbase that blame everything on Rudkin and Whelan but won’t have a bad word said against Top that are the bigger issue

Just checked it’s still 5/4?

Did you check the exchange market? The exchange is usually the first giveaway that’s something’s gone on
