Wrexham make shock move to sign Christian Eriksen, weeks after he left Man United: Agent confirms talks over shock transfer at Ryan Reynolds and Rob Mac's club

Been rejected already apparently.

Good signing for Charlton. Wouldn’t have minded him but I don’t think our fans would have accepted him.

Charlton close to finalising Kelman deal

Latest from Sky Sports News' Dharmesh Sheth:

Charlton are close to finalising a deal to sign QPRforward Charlie Kelman.

Kelman spent last season on loan at League One side Leyton Orient and scored 27 goals in all competitions

Gibbs-White clearly offered silly money to sign his new contract...or at gun point.

Not just saying it because it’s Forest but they are dodgy.

i really hope that his performances fall off a cliff, no-one comes in for him and they are stuck with him on mega money until his contract ends (sound familiar?!)

Can see this getting messy with Spurs and already at loggerheads with Palace.

He’s only signed a years extension. I suspect he’ll be off in 12 months time, but it gives the player a higher wage and Forest a higher transfer fee, next year.

Suits both short term, I guess.

Might make him less attractive to suitors though, I thought £60m was excessive when the spurs news broke.

If he (and they) have a poor season it’s possible no one wants him, especially if others impress at World Cup.

It’s risky from Forest, I would have taken the £60m and reinvested.

Clubs won’t do business with them if they aren’t careful.

Speaking to my charlton supporting family members I'm not sure they have accepted him yet either!

It won't happen but it would be delicious if Forest went down and had to flog him off cheap next year.

Edit: whoops the old accidental double quote!

I don’t think losing Elanga and MGW was in their plans, so have took the gamble paying a high wage to keep the latter.

Could backfire. Wait and see.

This is the kind of deals we did, before starting to lose players for nothing a couple of years later.

Forest are doing what Leicester did in sticking rather than twisting, they will now have more players above the £100kpw threshold than we ever did & yet only off the back of 1 weird season and more than likely only a small run in Europe.

This will bite them I believe as Man U and Spurs will be back and the table will look more like what we could all predict with top 7 being sown-up & the 8th slot being a wild card which I don’t see as Forest.

With the 3 clubs promoted spending especially Leeds and Sunderland and a lot of key players being sold from the wild card clubs it’s probably that we don’t see those 3 go straight back down with the gap between 8/9th closer to 18th than it has been.

Another stinky transfer saving Chelsea’s bacon

It’s amazing how many players they buy and then,  can turn a profit, without them really featuring for Chelsea.

Either a stroke of genius or incredible good fortune.

Charlie Kelman to Charlton for £3.5m.

I have to say, I'd have been tempted to take a chance on him for that. Great numbers last year in leagie 1 and still relatively young at 23.

Got to imagine he’s not shown Marti much while he was there. 3.5 is nothing for that amount of goals so it will be interesting to see how he gets on

He has been out on loan the entire time Marti was there. It would be interesting to know how much say he had on him going to Orient in the summer.

Becuase rudkin would want 12 and they would say no, he would then think he is saving face and doing the club proud but I’m reality he is destroying it one action at a time. Hate is a strong word but I hate rudkin.

We must be the most boring team for transfers in the last few years no one in and can’t get anyone out.

I wonder what on earth goes through our prospective new managers minds during the interviews and negotiations when it becomes abundantly clear that their objectives and targets rely on their boss to sell players that he's never been able to do at the required level.

I wonder if any have ever flagged this during discussions..... 😂
