Another one of your striker targets gone, slightly surprised by the fee @Tommy Fresh

He’ll be playing with this guy then

I assume this is Chelsea just stacking players ready to buy cheap and sell big 🤷‍♂️

It's another form of cheating and Chelsea continue to get away with it

I am far from JJ’s biggest fan but people putting him in the same category as Faes, Soumare etc doesn’t sit well with me.

If we were a well run club, I wouldn’t even be against him having a contract extension on reduced terms, he either signs it or finds a club that pays what he thinks he’s worth.

He's just going to be one of those players that certain people hate now because of a really bad patch last season. They won't be able to let it go. Happens all the time.

Norwich seem to be splashing the cash a bit. Every time I look at transfer news they seem to be linked/bidding for someone. Fair play on them.

Sold Sainz and Sargent. It’s a lot to replace but their window so far is impressive. I’m amazed they got Kvistgaarden. Manning is a good coach too, expect them to be around the play offs.

If wissa leaves as well, brentford definitely drop imo.

There only hope was having a few players remaining with too much quality to go down but that squad has been decimated and an amateur manager has got the job.  The 3 promoted sides should be licking their lips

I see none of the promoted clubs are signing unathletic midfielders for £20 million or journeyman players in their 30s, all on high wages. Mostly they are dipping into foreign markets signing guys in their  20s, who have some sell-on value, or don't cripple their clubs financially. Just highlights how awful our transfer business was last year

Agree although think Leeds' Longstaff signing is the spit of the Skipp one. Albeit for about half the money.

I'll never understand that Skipp signing. Utterly ridiculous. Was worth about £5mil max.

Their theory seems to be about signing very tall players, though at 5ft 11in, Longstaff is big enough I suppose but not as big as Anton Stach, who is 6ft 4in.

If Skipp was about £15m max I don't think we'd have been that upset which is exactly what Longstaff is for Leeds. Got absolutely bummed by Levy mixed with Rudkinomics.

Skipp is a £5mil player, not a £15mil one. £15mil would still be a massive overpayment, if he were to be sold this summer we would get nowhere near that, if any offers at all.

Let's be realistic, you don't get anyone for 5 million. We paid 20 +5 on add ons. His market value is prob similar to longstaff however skipp is younger and longstaff only had a year.left

Fulham interested in KDH he's surplus to requirement there now so i expect Chelsea will be pushing for his transfer.

Poor lad. I feel he was just used as a pawn in stupid PSR crap.

What’s the betting Fulham pay more than we got for him

They have also looked at a loan option, they are not renowned big spenders so anything north of £30m & imagine they will be pushing for that loan. His MV is actually €10m lower than when we sold him but your right Chelsea will want "World Club Champions" cream on top.

Fulham 1 of those clubs he could go to & just have a steady, nothing fancy, premier league career i guess.

Shouldn't have left......

Hopefully the likes of Monga and Evans see this.

In fairness, spending a couple of years at City's academy and then, as someone eligable as a French national, getting the chance to play first team football for a Europa League side in France isn't exactly the most terrible use of 3 years is it?
