It is but the rules are rules.. can’t have grey areas.. who knows that cross could have resulted in a goal.. the arm is in an unnatural position to purposely block it.. he made himself bigger by sticking the arm out

It's a correct call under stupid rules that ruin the game. A rule/law can be unfair and wrong and this is what we point out. If there's a law that you'll be taxed 80% of your income what would you say? Would you be happy because you need to follow the rules?

I think it should be an offence but I don't think giving the other team an 80% chance of scoring a goal is a proportionate punishment for that offence

You shouldn’t, but giving a >80% chance of a goal for it is too much. A freekick, even direct would be more fitting.

All I say is the arm is clearly in an unnatural position, to make himself bigger.. for me it’s a penalty and shouldn’t be a discussion…. I bloody hate Liverpool and their late winners

Maybe, but when on it still one of the best.. it depends what you expect him to be. People call Rooney overrated.. but what are you rating these guys against?

I think so yes. One of the players Sky seem to brain wash viewers into believing he’s the current Paul Gascoigne. He’s gone missing for 18 months, has one foot, and has just scored a header against Man Utd. He’s hardly ‘back’ and he’s most definitely not ‘world class’

Foden may be the best we have as an attacking midfielder, but it doesn’t make him world class
