The handball rule is ridiculous. Unless there's a clear scoring opportunity and the ball is about to hit the target handballs like this should just be an indirect free kick inside the box.

I’m not saying it’s not a hand ball, but it’s not a goal line clearance, or denying a goal scoring opportunity. It was at the corner of the penalty area. It’s a stupidly excessive punishment for such an infringement.

Why should you be able to stop a potentially dangerous cross coming into the box by throwing your arm out to stop it?
