Will never forget the play off v Cambridge in 92. One of the best Filbert St nights ever.
If I remember right the semi final in 94 was Tranmere. First leg Simon Grayson joined Leicester Riders temporarily, caught the ball in his own box and got away with it.
2nd leg Eric Nixon got wound up by Speedie and lost his head.
Great memories, Wembley was a 2nd home for a while.

Bonkers, really.      We didn't go to Wembley for 23 years from 1969 to 1992, then it was 7 trips there in a 8 year period.

(4 playoff finals: 92, 93, 94, 96 and 3 League Cup Finals: 97, 99, 00)

It’s even better when you take into account we only stayed up on the final day in 91

And the worst attempted header award goes to derby's paul Williams for his defending on the line for our first goal. Always makes me laugh 😂

Keegan had spent 40 mins creaming himself over their defence and just piped down for the rest of the game after that.

Dare I say the most iconic Leicester picture.

Most of on here are probably Millennials and this was our youth, so yeah a bit.

But still, Wes lifting the Prem has to be really tbf.

Although Andrea ****ing Bocelli wearing a Leicester shirt belting out classics deserves a mention for the surreal nature of it.

All these threads about how we did great in the past are only pushing me closer to the edge!

The bizarre thing is we’re better now than then, it’s just the trajectory that’s different.

Still probably my best memory of  being at a football match. Absolutely sensational feeling and an atmosphere that still makes my spine tingle. I used to love loving football. 😞

My first ever game as a child. What a baptism into the LCFC merry-go-round. The whole day was amazing. I remember my uncle (who had a few quid) banging on a pub door at about 9-10am, bunged the landlord a few quid and the adults had an early start!

It was fitting that Walsh got the winner after battling back from his ACL injury early in the season.

He was my hero, not just because he was a big tough (and sometimes  nasty) centre half but also because he was brave, having to have many operations just to keep playing. He actually wrote in a matchday programme that he couldn´t stand Derby.

I'd put Steve Walsh in the same category as Terry Butcher and Tony Adams.     As they metaphorically used to say "the sort of bloke you'd like to have next to you in the trenches"

I was there at Wembley. Great day. Also went to Palace play off when Claridge shinned it in the last minute. Fantastic memories.
