And the Speaker of the House is shutting it down for summer early rather than risk a motion being brought on the Epstein files.

That doesn't look guilty at all.

a competent opposition party would be making absolute hay out of this given it is looking like a pretty blatant cover up. However, safe money is the Dems won't do anything.

Agreed.

And seeing as the Overton Window over there is so ridiculously skewed that a third party coming in that would actually tell Trump what people actually caring about the future think of him would be a nice option.

Unfortunately it appears that the system over there is just fossilised rubbish.

Trump and his minions have tried their hardest to cause chaos and distraction ever since he has been called out the last few weeks. As doubtful as it is one day after he dies all of his little crew end up in prison for everything they do or hide for trump

There are tricky things and then there is trying to understand the American political system.

Wait until October and then watch prices sky rocket when the new packaging taxes come into play.

These things are brought in with good intentions, but, surprise, surprise, the cost is always passed on to customers, rather than addressing inefficiency in company practices.

if the money generated was used correctly then you wouldn't mind but the fact that the local governments don't even have to declare where they are spending their new found wealth i cannot see it being used for the purpose it is intended for!

When I was 14 I used to bottle up at a social club. All of the beers came in identical brown bottles that were sent to a central plant to be washed and re-used. All brands used the same ones.

Some of the ideas we had in the past just need to be bought back.

The system they have in Europe where you return your bottles to the supermarket to be re-used also works wonders.

This along with war weariness from the west is what Russia has been waiting for.

Yup, sadly coming at exactly the wrong time on the frontline too. In fact they think the two could be linked, the Zelensky faction consolidating power over what will prove to be a bad next few months. Ukraine gotta stay the distance if they want to eventually join the EU, which would be a good outcome.

Zelensky has been heroic but I suspect he is also feeling the weariness. I bet he is ready to stand down at this point and let another take Ukraine forward.

I can't go more than a few days without their red ale mustard mayonnaise and freshly ground Ethiopia.

Used to be something like 5-10p added onto the cost of a bottled drink, but you'd get it back when you handed them in. Mum and dad would send us round to the offy with a bag of bottles and we could buy sweets with the money.

No he’s doing the opposite because he knows he’s screwed if he stands down. He is also the image of Ukrainian resistance, I can’t imagine we’d support that and what we and the Americans say matters. A few of the people around him are obviously very corrupt, handing out drone building contracts to their own companies that were started only a couple of weeks before. It’s ironically very Russian (or UK March 2020).

Maybe there's a few Dems on the list.

Likely a past president and others?

At the end of the day,  if you're for finding sick predators (regardless of their names or previous positions) then have some honour and work to get the full list put out as best as you can.

Stop hiding sick barstards!
