From what Leavitt has said, Isr told the US military in the region but the message didn’t get back to Trump until it was underway. One would suggest BN has gone too far this time but Trump has little leverage. Remember Trump LOVES Qatar.

 isr attacks Qatar (with us assets present not far from Doha) without informing them ??  
US army and air force must have extensive air defence systems in place .  It’s Implausible imo. 

At what point the USA informed Qatar authorities  - who knows ?

Yeah I agree, there was also a British refueling tanker in the area too which seems a bit suspicious to me.

 

At the same time CENTCOM commanders have pretty much free rein to do what they want.

RAF refueling tanker is often doing those circuits over the gulf. Not suspicious imo.

they are already shadow boxing in Syria 

turkey very active in the north and isr in the south.  Turkey also close to and v supportive of jolani 

cant see any chance that isr attack within turkey’s borders.  A lot of what erdogan says is for domestic consumption. He’s a shrewd operator.

Well, yes, Israel have made it even clearer that they're not interested in any kind of agreement short of "ubi solitudinem faciunt, pacem appellant", as the Romans described one of their fallen enemies saying.
