Unfortunately, in the absence of being able to ascertain such feelings in advance and with a social system (rightfully) built on the presumption of innocence rather than prejudice of guilt, it makes that a rather tricky matter practically.

The fella (thankfully now shot dead) was a German citizen who had previously been arrested for having links to ISIS. He was supposed to be under probation supervision. 
 

Just as those responsible for 7/7 were British citizens, it’s not just immigrants who with us ill

I’m going to take a guess that the authorities already knew this guy was a threat, as they always seem to do before they carry out an attack.

And he most certainly should have been addressed appropriately before this horrible event occurred. 

 

However, my point is direct answer to the past above in that unless you know someone "hates the West" before they come in (is that on the immigration questionnaire, I wonder?), it's a mite tricky to not let them "come here" for that reason alone.

My point is that those coming to the west pose no more of a risk than those who are already here as nationals

Genuinely a terrifying thought. 
 

You only have to look at the UKs terror watch list. Most of them probably born here.
