CloudFox Posted 31 January Posted 31 January Cartwright doesn't seem to be starting matches much, if at all...is it worth bringing him back?

Hardly setting the world alight are they! To take him on only a week ago and then not even put him in the squad is annoying. I suppose this is how you know as a club where it is worth sending youngsters to and which clubs to avoid.

Pretty sure he was sent there as it local with him being very young.

CornwallFox Posted 4 February Posted 4 February Did Will Alves' injury ruin his progress or was he never destined to be the player we hoped? Not making the team in a lower division at his age doesn't look wholly positive for his chances at this point.

Not making the team in a lower division at his age doesn't look wholly positive for his chances at this point. Hard to say. He had a pretty decent second half of the season with Cardiff in the championship last season. It was noticeable however that he made more of an impact when coming on as a sub. He had a good start to the season with Huddersfield scored early on and their fans liked him. Then got injured and was out for 3 months and when he returned Grant was under pressure now they’ve changed managers who hasn’t used him once. I still think there’s a player in there that could become a good championship level player but at the moment he’s struggling to get consistent minutes 6 1
