In all seriousness, was probably sat micro-managing every question that was asked, and briefed top on how to reply. 

 

Actually quite surprised Dan Bates worded questions like "The fans will feel...." and "The fans will be disappointed with" to be honest.

Again no official attendance announced for yesterday's game. Will probably retrospectively announce a false 28/29k in the coming days.

Criticise lack of communication from the club, but expecting them to disclose something like that is wild - this isn't Football Manager.

Why would they make it public? It would only give other teams an advantage when we're trying to buy or sell players?! Just wait for the annual accounts, that's really the only indication we ever get. Anything else is planted stuff into the media via the club, or pure speculation/ click bait

For all his failings its not the comms director's job to communicate our budget - nor it it anyone's, unless you want to pay a premium on every player you sign.

 

If you want some news on the finances you can trawl through companies house.
