Absolutely!
Ward worse than useless.
amartey I didn’t mind as a squad player. But to drop Soyuncu for him. Unbelievable. Brendan gave up months before he was sacked.
Many people to blame for our relegation Brendan certainly high on the list.
Doesn’t get what he wants and throws toys out the pram.  Really hope he takes the wolves job, and they go down. Nothing against wolves fans or the club. Just Brendan needs the relegation on his CV that he forced on us.

He's a slimey cvnt, he's top of my list of who's to blame along with Rudkin and Top.

I don't understand how in a professional organisation it's possible to mis-communicate to the extent the manager thinks he's getting a squad refresh, and as a result alienates half his squad and then has to back-track.

If Top had any balls he would have fired them both that pre-season for such a huge fcuk-up.

I'll be very surprised if he takes the Wolves job, they won't be able to back him in January and his ego couldn't cope.

No chance they bring Martin here, there would be riots.

There would be no riots whatsoever.

Our fans could only muster a weak protest at best, which would soon fizzle out.

I’m not quite at “Marti out” point yet, but even as a possession football advocate I think our next appointment has to be to go and find Pearson 2.0. Robins would be a good shout, Challoner at Stockport is the another that comes to mind.

Bring me some Kevin Muscat.

Muscat is actually the polar opposite as a manager to what he was as a player in terms of philosophy surprisingly.

Management is about getting the best out of people, and going round all day every day like an Australian Charles Bronson just doesnt inspire anyone.

Thats why the qualities that made him an alright player (being generous) dont transfer into management.

I meant in terms of tactical style but you’re right, 100%.

So you’re telling me he wouldn’t do this to Nathan Jones :(

He is certainly out only for himself.
a huge problem when you are a manager of a team sport.

agreed. There can not be such a miscommunication to that extent. Unless Brendan was doing his bit of speaking Spanish to Rudkin.

Top just took over his dad’s company and has no idea what to do. So tough, as we will be a connection and should be a wonderful memory of his dad. But the way he runs us now it is embarrassing for the family.

he won’t take the wolves job. Exactly as you said. Imagine a relegation on his CV.

I wouldn’t say Robins is a realistic shout. I mentioned him previously before he went to Stoke but now he is there, and doing well, that ship has sailed.

We wouldn’t pay compensation for an in work manager (which would be on reason why Challinor wouldn’t be coming either) but also Robins is now building something at Stoke and why would he leave that. With the open nature of the league, they have to be a good shout for promotion after years of being crap.

Robins works for me

Mousinho seems to be a guy who has risen to every challenge thrown at him so far.

Difficult to judge him while he's got his feet firmly under the table at Portsmouth and has only ever managed them, though.

Leicester is a different kettle of fish and I honestly don't think this club is set up for anybody to succeed right now.

I'm still backing Marti once things behind the scenes sort themselves out. I don't really care if the players stop playing for him, we want rid of most of the pr1cks anyway don't we?

Give him the kind of squad he wants. Even if we can't quite afford the quality we want, get them playing for him and we'll have something to hang our hats on here.

Oh, and sack the board/sell the club

True sacking Marti gets us nowhere ... the club is toxic and good potential managers will give us a wide berth ... get the deadwood out along with those players with to much influence  and bring in some fresh faces and then see what he can do only then can there be a fair judgement.... remember after 10 games everyone was calling for Martin O'Neil to go

What's the point of changing managers and putting a sticking plaster on it? He'll only have to work with the same dross, same sh*t, different day!  This malaise is all on the board, and no one else.

I could see us being interested in Viera and Lage only because they are readily available and they both have experience in this country.

They will only come if they get money to spend / build a team surely.

I disagree massively don’t get me wrong it is dross and same shit but he should be doing a lot better than he is. We’re getting worse every week under him he’s well out of his depth and tactically not good enough the QPR fans did warn us! Majority of managers in this league would love this squad and I won’t be told otherwise, he’s got to go and tonight when we lose surely he gets the AXE 🪓
