Thomas Frank may be available soon.

Frank Thomas becomes City's 5th manager in less than 24 months.

Speaking at the club's state of the art training facility, Thomas admitted to the press that the call from the club's hierarchy had come "out of the blue!". "I've never watched a game of football in my life, but the offer was too good to be true." Thomas signed a 5 year contract worth a reported £3 million per year, in the early hours of Tuesday morning.

Martin O’Neil will be available shortly get him in until the end of the season.

Would be just the ticket but there would be plenty of kiddies that would oppose it on the grounds of him being a 'dinosaur' and if he isn't on their Football Manager Computer game then his lack of stats don't cut it.

One person I can see them going for is Potter. They've courted him before and he's turned us down. We're in such a poor place that if he wants to bring in his recruitment people he might actually get his wish.

But given where he is in his career he'll probably turn us down. He's in last chance saloon and I doubt we could afford him. Unless we sell it as a project and give him lots of power and give him a chance to rebuild his reputation. Which I'm not sure is a good idea.

But he's at a point in his career where he might take a chance on us if its a project based thing. This is on the border of realistic and unrealistic.

You honestly think he'd give up the Sweden job to come here?

I forgot he'd gone there. Yeah ignore me. I thought he was still unemployed.

Why would anyone want him? Even us, he’s a complete busted flush!

Crazy we wouldn't pay his compo

Same as when we wouldn’t pay corberan’s. Cheapskates.

This talk of hiring a technical director even if we have to pay compensation to get him out of a club is bullshit, we all know it will be someone recently sacked or out of work.

Whether established or, perhaps even more the young up and coming, if it were you, would you come? Think of your future in the game? From the non supporter invested outsider point of view, there’s clearly something rotten going on at the club, particularly the attitude of quite a large number of the players, half of which don’t want to be there and clearly by their efforts, don’t give a stuff. This has been for three if not four managers now, they can’t all have been that bad surely?

If I was young and up and coming I’d wait until at least summer when a lot of the dross have gone and I could have a bit of a say on who their replacements are because our current scouting setup, and Top also, are both gash! I wouldn’t waste my reputation on us if it was me.

We f***ed up sacking Brenda WAY too late.

We f***ed up not getting Corberan.

We f***ed up not going for Dyche.

We f***ed up not getting Rohl.

I'd take a gamble on Carsley for a long-term project. Plenty of experience with youth so I think he would make good use of the academy.
