Either way we shouldn't be rushing into anything! Kingy till the end of the season and clearly others agree 👍
Molson Canadian Posted 26 January Posted 26 January Jon Dahl Tomasson? Did a good job at Blackburn before leaving on his own, to take the sweden national team job. 2

United appointed an interim manager who'd been sacked by a club in the division below, Rowett as an interim to just steady the club wouldn't be awful 2
wardyfox86 Posted 26 January Posted 26 January Wtf is Gary Rowett gonna say that'll get the players onside? The players need somebody like Mowbray who has earned some respect during his career.

Just to see us through till some of these contracts expire

Pre and post-match interviews would not give much away.

He was here for 10 minutes about 25 years ago. There is literally nothing about this club that was the same 25 years ago. 4

Aleksz Posted 26 January Posted 26 January King or Rowett would be an interesting vote, not that we need another thread. 1
Tommy G Posted 26 January Posted 26 January People are shocked with the tripe we are linked with - why? Who in their right mind would come here for anything other than a pay day. 4

Langston Posted 26 January Posted 26 January Rowett as an interim would be uninspiring but ultimately relatively steady and you'd like to hope we could then have a proper clear out in the summer and fresh start with a longer term appointment.. Fuchs shouts are absolutely wild to me atm..

Exactly. Anyone we sign will be here knowing full well that they won't be here in 12 months time. It's a free couple of million quid for a manager that won't care about his reputation.
