Yes he must go now and we need a different style of manager. We don’t have the best players in the league this time so we need a more aggressive style. If we actually started to attack from the start it may also get the crowd back on side.

Keep him. It's not his fault he's had minimal pre-season, inherited a bunch of Donkeys and had to work with loans in the windows. Hopefully he stays till January at least and gets a chance to do something in the window.

I'm very concerned he'll take us down. It's a terrible situation and a honking squad, but he isn't the manager to sort it.

 

I'm usually fairly patient when it comes to managers, but Marti is not the guy we need right now.

He's not good enough, yet he's nowhere near our biggest issue.

If we do get rid we need to get someone in who can make us play effective football, and the style that is ingrained in the dna of the club.

 

we need to be solid at the back and break quickly. Appreciate that we need to be able to mix it up when teams play to nullify that, but this slow bullish is not effective and is prone to errors.

 

Defensively we are terrible.

We either need to defend the box and smash it long to the quick lads, or play a pressing game.

Sack him and who do you bring in? Whoever is suggested will not suit most people on this forum. Anyway, it masks the fundamental problem. The overpriced and overpaid players we have lack personal pride and the mental strength to fight for this club. They do not demonstrate the desire and resilience to secure sustained improvement. Until we get rid of most of this team, we will continue to sack the manager and results will be the same.

....but sadly, that is never, ever going to happen....and that's the point, something has to be done. I think 99% of this forum would want to see KP and Rudkin out first, but they're going nowhere.

 

Things are undoubtedly worse for Marti, but it's worth remembering that Enzo had to work under these twats, and with a similar group of players and was successful despite those challenges. Marti just does not have the presence or the talent IMHO.

I agree about Ramsey being a miss but you could've kept James and Winks together and dropped someone else in a head of them maybe Mavididi then stick Ayew on the wing. But at all costs do not play Soumare anywhere the guy is shockingly shit and that's being kind

Making a change after a handful of games last season made F all difference. Can't think of anyone half decent who would come to this toxic environment at the moment and have a meaningful impact.

Sacking Marti is just passing blame. Club is rotten and that needs sorting first.
