What attitude don't you get? You don't get why large sections of our supporters have had enough and are getting to the point where the team is just not supportable? I get the whole "through the good times and the bad" and most supporters can accept not being in the prem and can accept winning, losing or drawing but the vast majority cannot accept the basic lack of effort from many of these players. They are the highest paid players in the league and many of them are not giving 100% and that is completely unacceptable. They do deserve any applause or praise if they cannot even try to out run, and out fight the opposition. Blackburns 1st goal yesterday summed it up. Soumare half hearted as always gives a goal away because he didn't commit to the interception and just set the goal up. That's not a mistake that's basic lack of effort which is completely unforgivable.

I think he was referring to those that were clapping the players off.

Ah maybe I mis read. I thought he was referring to the people questioning why some of our fans still clap the players off

Took my 7 years old lad his first ever game on Saturday.
He wanted to leave at half time so we did.
🎉🎉🎉

Bloody hell you took him to his first game to watch us, what did he do to earn that?

Did he not just deserve a few minutes on the naughty step?

I don't get why anyone would presume to know anyone else experience growing up with the club. Some may see it as an automatic part of the matchday experience. Like an American clapping when the plane lands. Imagine it is more an older generational thing.

This is Blackburn by the way who have been run into the ground under the Venkys. They're one of the most miserable clubs in England - in a less than half full stadium with an atmosphere of an U21 game.

And they're better than us. And they started from nowhere near as strong a position as us.

What does that tell you about us?

We're on a post-Blackburn title win trajectory only worse, given that we achieved more than just a title win.

Problem is half the team are not fully committed or trying. They have no passion for the club or respect for the supporters.

However the other half of the team are trying and these players are being applauded by the fans that can be bothered.

Unless we have a new manager with a new sense of direction.... getting rid of Marti and replacing him with similar is a waste of time ..... definition of insanity... keep making the same mistakes time and time again  ... we need a back to basics no nonsense manager who stands his ground and is not a puppet for Rudkin and Top

Much enjoyed the boys decimating the players on the Leicester City Pubcast this week

Totally agree

I am sure some of the other podcasts like BSLB and Foxtrot Oscar Podcast will also be lambasting the players on the next pod

What club were they watching if they think that the fans in the 90s and 2000s clapped players off after these kinds of performances?

You don't learn this behaviour over attending decades ago because it didn't happen.

Agreed, but Christmas is just around the corner and the turkeys still aren't voting for it!

Chansiri 2 and his dog want a subservient for the vanity project not a difficult man.

This is just a different kind of assumption. The "I didn`t" therefore mentality. We are not all the same, when did such intolerance become normalized?

Are you saying that all the people clapping this kind of shit off the pitch only started going to games in the last decade and that's where they learned this behaviour? Because if so, I agree with you.

If your claim is that this many fans have been doing this kind of thing for longer than that, then that's simply not true.

I never said what I did or didn't do therefore anything.

Yes, I think it is a "new" thing in amongst some which is peculiar, not sure if its a particular demographic or not, perhaps the "tourist" demographic.

Even then, does it matter? Weird yes, but it has the same effect as booing, i.e.; bugger all, its just an expression of the individual.

It's saving me the trouble of driving down from Salford to watch this shit so more power to them I guess.

I'll be back when they've all ****ed off.

Do you really mean the supporters are the reason that won't be driving down from Salford? I assumed at first sight that you meant the players, but I'm not sure now.

I made my decision to not renew my season ticket almost entirely on the attitudes of the fans around me towards the end of last season, yes. I couldn't tolerate being around King Power supporters any longer.

Secondary was having to miss the Arsenal game due to work and realising I had a much better time without the football.

Not sure theres a great deal of benefit to changing the manager. Cooper properly did a number on us with the absolute horror show of a window last summer. Just piled more garbage onto the existing pile.

Just need to get this season out the way and try and come out of it in this league. Although it feels like doesnt really matter

Just remembered Luke Thomas got a 4 year contract extension. Christ.

Top and Rudkin are both top tier bellends.

OMG I forgot about that! a 4 year contract for Thomas! Now I am properly depressed, WTF!, he's always been Dog sh*t, I'm just a fan and I could see that from the start, but what do I know I've only been following them for 50 yrs LOL! its okay though we've got Christensen to fill in, oh god get me some Prozac....

To be fair, the other supporters were one of the first things that I stopped enjoying about going. I went home and away for years growing up and stripped it back when I moved away, and set up home and family etc which are the priority.

But all the years I was growing up, yes it was lower attendances and there were loads of seats around as were in the Championship and League 1. Obviously it started picking up as we were looking to get back into the PL and the woodwork lot come back out!

But I found I was suddenly surrounded by people who were utterly clueless and coming out with such nonsense all game. The experience became less enjoyable than when you knew the people around and they were good, knowledgeable supporters.
