Past caring.  These lads are on money we could only dream of, playing for the club i and many others would have killed to play for as kids and some are blatantly not giving everything.  Upset?   Bless them.  50k in their bank next friday will make them feel better.  No sympathy.  Disgusting bunch.  You pay your money mate, i can't tell you what to do but we are told its a team game......and to me today what they served up was dog sh*t.

There’s one stat that sums our whole game and squad up. At home, losing vs a team we should be beating and we had zero yellow cards. Tells you everything you need to know.

I clapped them from the East stand.

It was a pretty shocking performance by some, but Fatawu, James, Vesty and a few others deserved a clap. I mostly blame the manager for the shocking performance. Neither players nor I seemed to have a clue about the formation after the subs.

Abdul was visibly upset by the chants of "you're not fit to wear the shirt". He is still very young, and that sort of reception is not likely to motivate him or encourage him to stay at the club. Indeed it wouldn't surprise me if he left in January. That won't improve the team.

I also appreciated that the players and Marti didn't go straight down the tunnel and faced the fans. It couldn't be comfortable to do so.

The terrible financial state the club is in with no prospect of promotion will see him sold anyway, so I wouldn't worry too much about his desire to stay or leave.

It's players sacked or out we need first and not the manager. No manager could motive many if these players!!!!!!

Agreed, but he could have selected other ones. Admittedly, that would have meant making up half of our team from our academy, and we would have a testing season with no chance of promotion.

But we have no chance anyway; much the reverse.  And it would give us much more heart to see players who are fit, energetic, attack-minded, determined etc.  It is the better long term option.

Because our current players are so lacking in fight we will be in great danger if we slip into the relegation zone.

One shot on target today after so much possession ... disgraceful.

I posted something similar earlier…….looking at the 20 selected for today, l didn’t realise how weak our squad has become. Awful bench, we can’t score, defensively feeble, no fight.

Just drifting into another relegation battle, without a care, or worry it seems.

Sick of the majority of these players that have leeched off the all too generous resources of the club. Sick of the mismanagement from the top. Marti has some questions to answer for sure, but I pity the bloke for paying out his own pocket to come here and work with this s**t show of a squad.

Yes he could bring more kids into the fold, the lack of Nelson particularly is baffling, but a cluster of 16-18yr olds are not gonna be able to play week in week out at this level. No money to spend. James and Ramsey have been decent so far, Carranza can clear out back to Feyenoord or America from what I’ve seen so far!

If there is no change at the top, things will not change. The rot has well and truly set in, and today really rammed home how much of a long way back it is. As golden as the last decade or so has been, the next decade is going to be a dark bumpy road. I can’t be arsed with driving there Tuesday. Saving the fuel for Norwich next week (must be mad).

What were the tactics today? Genuinely if I had one thing to cling on to I'd be all for Marti staying. I like him as a person. He certainly has more about him as a man than someone like Rudkin or Top will ever have. But let's stop pretending he's doing a good job or this was inevitable. It's a disgrace.

ITs more the other way round - you can sack marti or keep him (- that's a different debate)... the real sickness in the club is that the squad needs rebuilding and rudders isnt the guy to do it (he is the architect of the currrent situsation) yet Tpp wont sack him. therefor for the longer term we need a new owner who will bring is a real dof.

Players signed last season to help us in the pursuit of safety from the premier League, bar Okoli, didn't start nor made an impact when they came on against a poor championship side.

Let that sink in.

Absolute mongies in the east stand applauding the players at the end when they hung around and didn’t want to face the stands.

They should be ashamed of themselves, gappy clappers I’m talking about.

Made me chuckle when the commentator on Sky mentioned people leaving the ground from 80 mins...thinking it was because of the performance! Nothing to do with beating the traffic of course and getting home in time for crumpets and the start of Allo Allo...

Can't wait for the manager and players to come out with "luckily we have a game midweek so a real chance for us to put things right" again!

I'm sure I heard him say a variation on that on RL as I was driving home.

Not sure theres a great deal of benefit to changing the manager. Cooper properly did a number on us with the absolute horror show of a window last summer. Just piled more garbage onto the existing pile.

Just need to get this season out the way and try and come out of it in this league. Although it feels like doesnt really matter

Just remembered Luke Thomas got a 4 year contract extension. Christ.

Top and Rudkin are both top tier bellends.

We’re absolutely shocking aren’t we? A complete shambles from top to bottom. No direction, no plan, nothing. Top and Rudkin couldn’t run a bath pair of useless pricks

Clubs rotten to the core ..powers that be need to recognise and tell us what the plan is....stadium expansion - don't make me laugh...we'll be playing at Seagrave at this rate....load of mercenaries picking up a wage not giving one 'f' if we win or lose...not a team at all....a bunch of over entitled individuals who thought theyd signed up for a European push and don't want anyone to see that they're not even good enough to grace the Championship...no guts...no fight....no desire.... nothing

More like the players are out fought by the other team who actually give a shit and put in a shift, look at Kristensen for the 2nd goal for example, pathetic.

I agree players are out fought but the manager is also constantly out thought. Yet again we’re losing and it’s the opposition manager making subs, changing formation, it changes the amount of players they have forward and our manager is just stuck doing the same thing. Only changes he ever does are like for like. I’m sick of the players and I’m sick of the manager.

When we are in possession our play looks far too scripted.

It's almost like Marti spends all of his time on the training ground working on patterns of play and it just makes us so predictable and easy to defend against.

The players need to play with more freedom.
