Look im not saying its been good as it clearly hasn't but there have been plenty of positives here compared to under marti.

The players are running and trying

We are having shots

We are creating chances

We are moving the ball quicker

We have an xG of almost 2

Despite being down to 10 men from really early on we have been better than in almost all of the games over the last few months.

These are positives

This isn't to let anyone off the hook/ say everything is fine now or even approaching it or that King is the answer (he probably isn't)

But this has not been the disaster that many on here seem to want it to have been

We look like we have more passion and energy let's hope that continues

Okay Rudders .... now let's you back to the ward

I completely disagree... i dont like winks for the trouble caused and "apparently spitting his dummy out ect" but he was great on the half turn, drove the ball forward at almost every opportunity, he drove with the ball forward, and he covered the back 4 well at times, in my opinion considering hes not played competitive in nearly 3 months, he was the best player.

As much as I'd like this to be untrue, we looked a lot better with him

Ludicrous to criticize bringing on another defender lol

Especially given he played quite well.

The only question mark you might have is should he have made a change at halftime - namely Ayew.

However - I imagine he’s given it the “we need to show we’re better than this” at halftime, in which case you allow the 11 that came in some time to prove just that in the second half.

And those early signs at the start of the second period were indeed positive and with only one stoppage for substations left available to him, I can understand why the two final changes he made were so late on.

Actually thought Winks did ok  tried to move the ball quicker, but with ayew up front there's no out ball

Perhaps I'm being Nellie Negative, but if the impact is trying to move the ball quicker, I'd rather play another 3rd/4th choice and lose 3-0 than give him the shirt

What the f**k does Kingy and Marti see in Ayew , Daka granted he is shit he’s a damn sight better than Ayew.

Very true .... if Awey is first choice from now on ..... we are done

Hard to find positives, right now. But there are some. Page. Aluko. Monga. Nelson. All gaining massive experience. I’d start all for the rest of the season, if their bodies can take it. 🥴. I’d also start winks & Begovic next game. After those names, selection doesn’t really matter as they’re all pants on current form.

2-0 loss to Charlton at home is about as bad as it gets in terms of one off results I am afraid lol

The performance was an improvement and the sending off was a massive problem I do admit, but then I say again, Charlton, at home, not exactly the most testing fixture on the fixtures list is it, and we have nothing to show for it. Birmingham away Southampton at home and Boro and Stoke away coming up with a potential points being taken off in the mean time...this is all a potential disaster in the making I am afraid.

I've said already the substitutions and in-game management was cowardly, however this is literally his first game in charge of a professional football match. So it just couldn't have gone worse for him could it.

So what you’re saying is that any team that goes down to ten men at 0-0 will always lose the game.

Naivety in who went off in that first sub cost us the first half. Okoli has let the team down but it didn’t mean we had to just surrender any chance of trying to score, Ayew struggles with support let alone without any.

They're either going to crumble into nothing and not turn out to be very good players.

Or they are going to man up, build character and embrace the challenge of improving as footballers.

If you can't play whilst being booed you are never going to be good enough. I mean wtf are we doing here?

Yes that's true of professionals, but U18s play in front of nobody.

They'll improve much quicker with support than being booed for making mistakes.

Who needs this shit as 16 or 17 year olds learning their trades, first opportunity Page, Monga and Aluko will leave Leicester and who can blame them.

Depends on the standard of those players we sign 🤔

If we have a look in the Sunday league it would be an upgrade on what we have

No I'm not saying that, but can you find me the probability of the 10 man team winning?

The odds are not exactly equal.

Neither did I expect a caretaker manager on his first ever match in charge and first ever football match at the helm to have the nous to win 1-0 in such a situation.

If you can't see that there were some positives from that game despite the horrendous start, and feel the need to insult people, I feel sorry for you.

No one is saying that it was good that would be delusional but there were improvements from previous games

That is all I was saying though the performance was an improvement. That was my only point really. Glad we agree on that

I was never claiming it was good the result was clearly horrific just that there were some positives

Please no need to feel sorry .... there will be minor improvements set against a bar which is set so low .... and in respect I feel sorry for you if you believe anything other
