I have kept quiet on all of this for a long time, but now is the time to say it:

our club is broken from top to bottom and will remain so under the current ownership and leadership. I was sat near the Director’s Box on Saturday and a bloke  shouted to Top that he should be ashamed of what he has done to his father’s legacy. Top’s reaction was to put his hands in the air, take a picture of the guy and had him removed.
In that moment, I knew we are ****ed for now and the future.
Pray for change

I am beyond pissed off with the state of our club.  The incompetence is unreal and not something the fans deserve.   The same can be said for fans at other clubs who found themselves in similar situations (or will)

Top needs to hold his hands up and say he fuked up and will make it right. We don't want to hear words, we want to see action.

This is 100% solely on him for a lack of oversight in those who worked under him.

Whether making it right means holding people including yourself accountable, commitment to future sound financial decisions/planning or selling the club. We want transparency!

This is our club, remember that first and foremost. When the times get tough, the fans are always still there. You are lucky to have us.  We are thankful to Vichai for all he did but you have ruined his legacy and it's shameful IMO.

Your own fans know what's better for this club then your so call expert employees. Pathetic.

Man up.

Any chance we might hear something/anything from Rudkin now to even attempt to explain the situation from the clubs point of view. Absolutely no point in Top doing anything as he can barely string a sentence together. Come on Johnny boy its moments like this that you get paid the big bucks for - stop hiding in the shadows and show your worth - or would that make it all too obvious that you should never ever have been anywhere near such responsibility. Its already clear Top is incompetent we just need Mr Rudkin to confirm his credentials. i will get me coat

Things like the Leicester statement when they say things like "considering our next steps" worry me.

I think we're all sick of this ongoing battle with the Premier League/EFL, I guess the players and staff are as well, take your medicine, neither side "won", we got points deducted but it wasn't as many as the Premier League wanted.

Glad to have lost this massive distraction, let's hope the players/club/supporters react positively!

What’s that got to do with anything?

I am not sure comparing clubs who are deliberately and effectively walking a very fine line to maximise their funding with us helps anyone.

Especially when Man City are currently in court and Chelsea are or were under investigation not that long ago

My point is really that they have knowingly done this - which you could argue is worse - but we have done it through incompetence, lack of leadership and governance failure.

Done well there, have enough to stay up so nothing really has changed

Clearer task for the new manager tbh, anyone half decent would back themselves to keep this team up.

I sense the club made that statement to seem bold but I suspect they already know its a moot point.

Either way, accept the deductions and let's close the chapter.

There should be a standard point deduction for any team who overspend. (PSR is dreadful anyway and hinders teams challenge the top 6)

this is a typical FA decision.

when teams are doing well take more points.

team close to relegation will be less.

The 3 points deductions Everton, Forest and Leicester. All three have caused 0 impact on the clubs.
Forest 4 points so they do not go into relegation, we have 6 so stay outside relegation. Everton were doing well had 10 and no near relegation.
FA want to appear to govern the game but lack in correct decision making.

If that really was their line of thinking, they probably decided it a month back after looking at our fixtures.

"Wrexham, Oxford and Charlton? Surely they'll get a win or two there, won't be in any danger." Three weeks and one point later, we're surviving on goal difference and with the worst strike force we've ever seen at the club.

Going down despite the EFL trying to be "lenient" would sum this club in 2026 up perfectly, to be honest.  :nigel:

It is a case of evaluating the consistency of how the Football Governing Bodies treat different Clubs that break the rules.  I actually think we were shown some sympathy due to having a Buffoon as our Director of Chaos.

How can you say the deduction has no impact on us with 16 games left to go? Just because it’s left us out of the relegation places on GD now, does mean that is going to stay the case. We are awful, a one man team who is now out injured. If they were doing as you say, with us in free fall on the pitch, they’d have waited until later in the season or the end of the season.

I was expecting 12, reduced to 9 on appeal, so I'll take 6. We'd be daft to appeal.

With the players that have come in, we'll be fine.

Oh like we were fine in 22/23 with the players we had?
