I thought his post match  comments were accurate to be honest. He did say SM said before the game he had felt ill, but still felt he was ok to play / GR said it was a mistake to let him play - one those occasions where the manager should have gone with his  brain not heart.

I’ve been giving him the benefit of doubt up to now, but he can’t save us, can’t inspire the players enough every game and should go. That 2nd half today was sickening.

Won’t cost anything to pay him off - it’s like 1 months salary till end of season - he won’t have any contract as such - shame we can’t sack him and all the players as well and just play the u21s for last few games - we would lose them all but I’d at least support the players

It's been alluded to that he and Winks are the poison in the camp. They are reputed to hate each other and their rivalry brings disruption and division between the others that take sides.

 

Ayew has been one of the worst (amongst many) signings we've made since winning the PL.
