You have to wonder why so many ex players do this. All they can do is piss people off. You aren't gaining any new fans saying this shit.

Wonder if its a case of them no longer having to save face.

Perhaps a lot of them show their true colours when they retire and don't have anyone to keep sweet?

I don't know, just seems a common theme.

That shows Leo to be an utter knob tbh, he's really not thought that through.

You are contracted, if another player comes in, you train and you show yourself to be the better player. If another club is offering double the money? Tough, you are contracted to the club, stop with the bleeding heart story ffs. What an idiot

Seems to be a lot of players who didnt like Ranieri after the Premier league win. Probably explains why we dropped off so bad the season after

We dropped off because ranieri was told to turn us into a passing side, which he couldnt do, he also kept changing formation last minute according to Phillips

Love Ulloa, legend. Wish we had him in the team now

So he could turn up to Seagrave and not train?

It does seem that after riding the wave of the great escape and winning the league, Ranieri went back to being a poor manager once he got his own way

Guess this settles it that it was NP who one us the premiership that seasons then CR did say he didn't do much and soon as he did players drop tools and rest is history. :) also shows its good to have a good foundation before anything else. Would love to have someone come in ans do something like this again build a solid base and build up from that.

It’s a good job Daka’s shots rarely trouble a keeper

Do you know who I trust as the absolute gospel having watched every single game we played under Ranieri myself and witnessing the way we played under him and under Pearson the previous season when we nearly got relegated?

Leonardo Ulloa.

I'm sorry but it what world is Ranieri a poor manager  ? Not world class admittedly but good, OK, or maybe adequate at worst .

Also you'd need to find a new word for our last few managers as they were definitely poor !

At opposite ends of the ground facing the wrong way

Players want to play, and I am never going to criticise someone for that. They also have a short career and you can understand that if you are not playing and another club wants to pay you more, then you want to move.

Asking for a move and the club promising you will play more and they will not sign anyone, then doing the exact opposite is going to be upsetting.

Downing tools and refusing to train properly is both unprofessional and counterproductive.  Zero chance those offers are still there a year later if you can't be assed to stay fit and fight to play.
