Even putting aside the absolute and factually incorrect nonsense about entitlement, I am genuinely amazed people want to really back these players over the supporters.

Lying and twisting the history of the club is one thing- endlessly backing these charlatans is another thing entirely.

A real shit part of society that people back organisation/establishment/hierarchy over the people what live it

What is there to support any more? A team full of spineless mercenaries who despite being the highest paid in the division are 23rd in the league? Owners and a corporate structure so incompetent that they've delivered back to back relegations whilst overspending so much that we've broken PSR rules and have no chance to bounce back because they've already mortgaged future income? This is way more than the slings and arrows of fate that all football fans accept.

Next season a lot of those players will be gone and replaced with ones who care more about the shirt. The owners will take a while longer to move on but eventually will too.

I’ll gladly continue going to protests and joining condemnation of the owners but the players on the pitch next season will be mostly different and deserving of our support.

Thomas, Mav, Okoli, Kristiansen, Faes; they still have contracts and doesn't actually mean we'll get a buyer for them. Okoli we may.

Faes is thankfully killing it at Monaco so hopefully we might even get a decent fee for him.

So are the staff and their families still going to come out 10 mins after the last home game finishes and do a lap of honour? They might as well just not turn up for the rest of the season, fk off to the beach now. Sick of it

The same people that leave after 80 minutes will probably decide to stay to clap them.  That's the mentality of a large proportion of our fanbase.

I started supporting Leicester City in 1979/80 season when Jock Wallace was manager and I've seen all the highs and lows we all have between then and now

i think the main difference between this seasons inevitable relegation is worse than the last time (and only time in our history) we dropped into the 3rd tier because of the sheer  amount of this current team I can't see actually care a jot about Leicester City

They are mainly mercenaries out for a last pay check. Disgusting 🤮 and I can't wait see the back of the vast majority of the whole squad. We are rotten from Top to bottom and need rid of this poisonous hierarchy and need new fresh owners who actually give a shit and have some money to improve us again

Used to put my LCFC shirt on on a match day and it felt like armour, it felt like I/we were indestructible.

People would recognise the top/badge/club as "That team that did the impossible" Respect!

I used to hope I didn't need to wear a coat so I could walk around and be proud to be part of who we were.

I now seem to wear it with shame and embarrassment. I feel weak! I feel pathetic! I used to walk, upright, with my shoulders back with my head held high, strong and a determination in my steps and have a confidence to have eye contact with opposing fans as we made our way to home and thro towns to away grounds, feeling the respect they had to give us because we were Leicester City. I felt a dominance wearing my shirt and heading into the KP, once a fortress.

Now, It means nothing! I put the shirt on and wonder, should I just put my blue one on, instead of the pink away one I now have, as it's less obvious I'm an LCFC fan. I put my coat on top and just go through the motions of going to a footie match like I was going to a wake.. It's pretty much silence in the car with zero excitement or a buzz that we used to get. I walk with my head looking at the ground avoiding eye contact with opposing fans because you just feel they are laughing at us because as much as they loved our story, they are now seeing the downfall of what they see as a club that tried to cheat the system and take joy in seeing us in this monumental fall from grace. They don't even see half of what it's feeling like because my walk and my slumped shoulders are also bearing the burden of the failure of those at the top and on the inside of my club. The heaviness hurts like hell!

As I've mentioned before, you literally cannot have a seat closer to the away fans than the ones I and my son have in Block P. I'm actually pretty thankful the last few games have had  a good few rows of empty seats in the away support block because I'm ashamed and embarrassed to have any sort of interaction, or even look them in the face, even to a point that, instead of fronting it out full on with the opposition with loud boastful songs and chants like I used to, looking and standing square on to them, I am now too downbeat, dissolutioned and shamed by what we have become and it's hard to see/and hear the, lets be honest, truthful sh*t, they throw at us. I'm dreading anyone actually bringing a full away support as I've nothing to give back anymore. I just feel numb and to think next season we are going to have seasoned League 1 and promoted League 2 teams' fans  actually and legitimately taking the absolute piss out of what we have become.

Then I'll probably trudge back to the car thinking the same as I do now.....

Just how has it actually come to this?

You think any players anywhere really care about the clubs they work for? Apart from perhaps local lads who come through the youth system, hardly any of them do. The only one I can think of in recent years who actually genuinely takes an interest in the club he plays for, and keeps that interest after he leaves, is Maddison, and he just got pelters on here because he had a daft backpack and screwed up a penalty.

I don’t think I’m ashamed. More apathy, and I’ve never been like that before. Sounds strange but I’m not actually bothered if we go down, and I feel mad saying that. But there’s an inevitability about it. Players not caring, not rolling their sleeves up etc - and if they don’t care, why should I? And that’s not even talking about the gross incompetence and negligence that has overseen the squad building.

The biggest frustration is this group of players is actually more than capable of doing well in the Championship. Unfortunately we have had a series of managers now that have embedded an incredibly negative style of play which champions a pointless possession style of play with no purpose. It has also normalised a culture of minimum effort with no consequences. The discipline within our squad is shocking.  Nobody gives a **** and it's just been accepted.

When you combine that toxic culture with a total lack of investment in leaders and key players, we are left in this disgusting situation.

I think there have been plenty over the years that care for the club and the area - Matty Elliott still lives locally now he has finished playing and cares for the club

this current lot don't seem to. You don't have to be from an area to care about it and the club etc. pride should be shown by all players in my opinion, I get that a few won't but this squad is despicable

I raised this a few years ago about insisting in the contract that players can't be based in Nottingham (unless already living there) ....the suggestion was roundly mocked..

But it's about recruiting players who understand the committment and responsibility to the community they represent. It's a culture and standards thing.

The fact 90% of our squad scream off in their cars  to west Bridgford within seconds of leaving the seagrave  dressing room sickens me. It sums the club culture up.

It’s hard to watch right now and I honestly can’t see any light at the end of the tunnel. Winning the Premier League was incredible, but the decline since then has been embarrassing. If we don’t survive, we could end up stuck in League One for years. The club is a complete mess.
