It's a win but ****ing hell it don't half remind me of that Wednesday game a year ago. Dire opposition at home and we've scraped past with barely a decent chance created in 90 minutes.

People forgetting how poor we where under Enzo for the first few weeks.

Takes time people.

I can’t get Martin’s time with Rangers out my head. Let’s face it they were shit… against similar opposition. I need convincing, so I was against his appointment and I still am. Let’s hope I’m proving wrong and he has learnt a lot and turns us into a force

Will having a CF make any difference? Clearly the manager gets his kicks out of watching defenders with hooves for feet trying to pass it around for as long as possible.

100% if you are a winger and get wide and look up and see BCDR in the box you are going to turn around.

Add to that Cullen and BCDR are both players that come to feet, CF plays up against the CB and gives vertical threat.

Rubbish.

That 1st minute screw up set the tone.  Awful, awful stuff.  All the slight glimmers of positivity that were being bandied about were well and truly extinguished today.

We’re bang in trouble.

Triple relegation is definitely possible.

Biggest surprise for me was Martin wearing all black on the sidelines. You'd think a man with his fashion sense would know black absorbes the heat more and makes you sweat. Very dissapointing.

I thought Aluko did well when he came on. It's a shame that two of our best young players play in the same position.

He was bright when he came on, He just needs to be mindful of his defensive duties first as a FB.

Rangers are still shite to be fair but that could be the Martin aftermath. I remain unconvinced by him and I know it’s only one game plus a pre-season.

Yeh and then people ended up finding it really entertaining.

Awful all round performance. Reid is the new Ayew. Joseph and Braybrooke come out with some credit.

And Watson. I thought Watson was our best player.

Took Enzo until after the first international break to get us ticking.

Been over 15 players out and 6 in, it a massive rebuild that isn't going to be over night.

Today was exactly as I thought it would be.

I'll get behind him, and we shouldn't get carried away with either the good things from today's game or the bad, but I have been baffled by some of the 'Martin converts' on here lately. While there's every chance that he'll achieve his objectives this season, I've seen nothing to change my opinion about him as a long-term project-builder for the club. I don't yet see the thing that has inspired this renewed belief.

I 100% hope you are right, of course things need time to settle.. that doesn’t mean I can’t judge what I saw today but yes perspective is needed. Let’s see, it’s harder to give that room when it’s a manager you aren’t confident with. But like I said I’ll be happy to eat humble pie if he gets us going

It was basically a pre season game and a team that hasn't played together long. It will gel 🤞🤞🤞

Souttar and Okoli are a new pairing

The youngsters were good

The new signings were ok too

We desperately need a striker!

It takes a bit of time. Its essentially a new team and management. It will be fine 🙏

Trying to keep things in perspective!

A win and clean sheet is a good start!

So many reactionary, over dramatic cry babies on here again today, imagine my shock

We weren't great though. No-one can say we'll steamroller sides and go straight back up based on that, but I suppose I didn't expect us to.
