The lowest point in our history no doubt this afternoon.

If it'd been 5 or 6 we couldn't have begrudged them - they were everything we weren't. My god they defended for their lives not that they really needed to us against our power puff players

A complete and utter disgrace.

Was so full of hope and optimism after Tuesday night but to be brought back down to earth like that was hard to take.

Then to hear RM afterwards blame everyone but himself was sickening.

They weren’t even very good on Tuesday to be honest, we were lucky Plymouth couldn’t finish.

He is the epitome of a manager that obsesses about needlessly overcomplicating the game of football to try and make a name for themselves, whilst looking ridiculous. He sells his ‘idea’ to clubs and we were next in line to fall for it.

Fingers crossed it will be over soon.

What an absolute joke

4 nil.loss at home

All these w@nkers we have brought in. Bunch of clowns

Why the fvck they want that t0sser Martin in control is just another spear in the side

Laughable

The people we've brought in aren't the issue. In the main, they are young, testosterone-fuelled alphas. The problem is, the baggy, airy-clothed, wet-weekend-wearing manager is insisting they go against everything they have been taught and believe in, to push through his belief that football has become something different since its inception all those years ago. He simply won't allow the thought that he isn't right. He is the epitome of a narcissist with a smattering of emotional manipulation chucked in.

He's absolutely not right in a position of authority.

Yes, a few decent saves by MaCarthy gave a false impression. It was closer than it should have been.

I watched BDCR very closely in that 1st half.

Just about every single f*ck-up involved him.

I wouldn't have just subbed him, I'd have sent him home.

Me too, he was woeful… and compounded his awful performance by being the laziest player on the field. Terrible.

Let’s get this straight, there’s some ridiculous and embarrassing takes on here.

Firstly, we absolutely deserved to lose.

Secondly, the ref had a shocker…utterly appalling and he most certainly influenced the scoreline today.

4-0 flattered Oxford, it really did. They didn’t play particularly well or create chance after chance. But we still deserved to lose the game.

RM’s tactics haven’t worked, aren’t working and they will continue to get shown up. Football has moved on and this is League one where the standard of player and ref is even worse than the championship.

There is a serious mentality problem at the club and that starts with Top and Rudkin. Players like Souttar don’t wanna be here and certainly shouldn’t be playing, let alone be captain.

This LT experiment needs to stop. Why buy two CB’s and continue it?

On the toxic atmosphere second half…on one hand I absolutely back the ‘RM, your football is ****’ as it sends a message to him and the board. We can all see it. But to cheer Wes Burns going off at this stage seemed off. I understood and joined in with cheering Ayew and LT off etc but Burns at this point? Didn’t feel right.

I didn’t want RM here and I do now want him out but while this owner and Rudkin are here, I do not trust them to put someone in place capable of a promotion push.

Im at a complete loss with this club and indeed Football in general. Dead club and a dying sport.

I agree with everything other than the scoreline flattering Oxford. I thought they looked two leagues above us today, they were absolutely superior in every way and 4-0 didn’t flatter them

Thomas and Soutter need to be ditched. Soutter way too slow and Thomas cannot read the game at CB. Get O'Hora and Finnish guy in. 3 games in a week too much for Page and Braybrooke (they looked lightweight today). Get some bite in midfield with Lundstrom. Just looked like we had no energy today. Alot of work needed on the training pitch this week.

No it’s not unfair. People need to get this into their skulls. Rodgers, as a personality, is extremely similar to Martin. It’s not that they aren’t capable of tactical understanding or better ideas - it’s that they both put their branding first. Seeing this coming was even more important than seeing that these managers were going to make crap subs. Egos that big, ones that are more important than the club, ruin everything.

Frankly, I could have won the cup and finished top 4 if I was managing that Leicester squad, but that’s not the point I was making. You’ve just misread my post because you were aching to defend someone who took the Mickey out of you.

We didn’t learn anything. Pearson knew how important personality and character was, we hire people he would have nothing to do with and that’s as crucial as the lack of talent has been.

No idea what your on about, who's taking the micky or who I'm aching to defend.

They are both patronising, self serving ****s but Russell Martin and Brendan Rodgers standing in the game are at opposite ends of the spectrum.

Unpopular opinion but Brendan Rodgers is our 2nd most successful manager behind Ranieri. FA Cup and 5th in the PL twice which was a failure in itself but history will still show he's 2nd behind Ranieri.

RM is the worst manegerial appointment in our history.

Finally left that pit of misery to compose my thoughts…

What a load of s**te that was. Defence is an absolute joke. To fall to the masterclass of knock it wide and cross was borderline hilarious. Full backs were clearly targeted as they have zero positional awareness and the CB pairing is the worst we've ever had. Souttar just wandered around like he didn’t want to be there (captain lol) whilst Thomas, out his depth in his natural LB position, is a sitting duck. Any team will look at that and lick their lips at how easy it will be to beat us. After the goals went in the entire team just started at their feet without zero accountability or awareness for what’s going on. They don’t have a clue and couldn’t give a toss.

Burns is just a passenger and I’m wondering if anyone has seen him and Cullen in the same room together? Midfield is just so lightweight they can’t push forward without being bumped off the ball. Reluctant to stick the knife in too deep with them as they’re out of their depth kids with zero leadership around them to help.

We've got a manager who is cut from the Brendan cloth and is too arrogant to change his ways. We go down if this continues and it’s on the cretins who employed this clown when anyone who watches footballs can see this coming a mile away. Even the subs were just like for like, this guy has zero football intelligence. Even our staff bench are just a bunch of wetters collect wage.

Ref was crap but thankfully it made naff all difference. This is karma for our hideous yellow away kit being a knockoff Oxford shirt.

Look forward to copy and pasting this next game.

Nailed it 👌 👏

Had 3 Brighton academy players on the pitch at the end. Absolutely nuts

Utterly embarrassing that our very well paid Head Scout and Sporting Director have willingly allowed the manager to call up his mate at Brighton asking for some kids.

Disgusting performance. Souttar and Thomas were awful, both in terms of individual performances, but also the tempo they set. Way too slow playing out from the back. Never want to see Souttar in a Leicester shirt ever again, let alone have the captains armband. Clearly has no interest in putting in a shift, I'd have him train with the u10s from hereon in.

Bobby is another who needs to go. Been hoping he'd turn things around, but I've now decided enough is enough. Burns needs to buck his ideas up too. No idea why Ipswich fans rate him so highly, looks like his legs have gone and we've been sold a dud.

Sounds daft after berating the experienced players, but today showed what Top and Rudkin have reduced this club to; that we are so reliant on youngsters to consistently perform to a high level. Today was literally men against boys.

We've got some exceptionally talented young lads, but to keep throwing a team of kids into games against seasoned pro's who are not only highly experienced in this league, but know this is their level as a professional footballer and are literally battling every week just to secure a contract for the following season, is beyond negligent.

Martin did himself no favours and has completely lost me now, but despite his inadequacies, quite frankly that result today is once again another huge example of the Top's mismanagement of our once proud football club.
