M&S continue to do great things in their food selection.

Used to be very wary of Primark but if anything their quality has improved. Great value.

Sainsburys - take advantage of some great Nectar deals.

Robert Dyas

Dunelm

Greggs - only in "emergencies" mind.

Forgot Waterstones - now they offer a free coffee when you buy one of their books of the month (I don't know if that's all their stores though). I have to admit I'm easily bribed.

M&S cafe is very civilized and in terms of clothes they do quite good basics

Enjoy Waitroses and Morissons - spacious and they do a very wide selection of stuff especially good continental meats

Old record shop in Kings Lynn where I spent many a Saturday as a teenager

Then mostly book shops, Waterstones especially the one on Gower Street in London, Judd Books in Bloomsbury, Toppings in Ely.

@Parafox will certainly agree with your Morrissons shout.

I'll give you M&S. They certainly seemed to have turned a corner in all departments particularly the food.

I don't use Primark any more as I can't be arsed with the rubbish stores with clothing etc just dumped on the floor by knobheads that can't be bothered. Also the disinterested staff.

Greggs = shite for the great unwashed. Their sausage rolls alone contain less than 20% meat. The rest is pastry, rusk and fillers. I feel sorry for the infants in pushchairs being given them as a meal

Dunelm, hideous locations. But decent value.

I hate Morrisons. It's the last supermarket before death for their target customer.

Skeletal people wandering around with no idea why they're there, resting arms on the trolley as they shuffle about taking ages to check expiry dates and getting to self checkouts and becoming baffled by the need to add your own bag before they can scan their shopping and then not understanding the checkout process and having to wait for the single checkout operative to come to their aid.

This is basically every supermarket in Norfolk but Morrison's at least has good salami Milano and beer selection

I loathe  shopping.

But the dunhelm mill in Thurmaston is easy to navigate and has a lovely smell.

Staff are really nice too.
