Ric Flair Posted 29 September 2004 Posted 29 September 2004 I remeber when Evereton played Leicester last season, I was the only one saying Rooney would go on to be the best player in the world. Anyone else agree with me yet? 23177 I've always been a massive fan of the lad and always will be. People used to slag him off for crap reasons, now they have been made to look fools Roooooooooooooooooooooooooney
scodger cubs Posted 29 September 2004 Posted 29 September 2004 I prefer Smith than Ruud VanMissAlot and Saha 23196 i forgot about Smith!
Cat Burger Posted 29 September 2004 Posted 29 September 2004 R.V.N's goal yesterday was good aswell, it was a simple finish after the class control - but the way he finished was so emphatic, also I loved it how he took it upon himself to foul and kick the Turks, as any English player would. (ooo controversial)

davieG Posted 4 September 2010 Posted 4 September 2010 Thought his brother played for Macclesfield (John that is)............................. That was posted about 6 years ago. As for Rooney is there a more miserable, disinterested looking player anywhere in the world?
ozleicester Posted 4 September 2010 Posted 4 September 2010 Thought he had a great game against Bulgaria.. was involved in 2 (3?) of the goals, worked hard, made space, quality game i thought.

Ultra Posted 4 September 2010 Posted 4 September 2010 That was posted about 6 years ago. As for Rooney is there a more miserable, disinterested looking player anywhere in the world? Still helped set up all four of the goals last night. - can't knock him for that. Why couldn't he have produced that in SA? He still doesn't quite look right though, and hasn't done for Manyoo either this season. Is there something we're not being told about? Maybe he's one of the three England "megastars" who have slapped injunctions on the media.
Jackirius Posted 4 September 2010 Posted 4 September 2010 Yeh he played well last night, i was just browsing the forum posts from 6 years ago and read this and saw how evident from a young age it was that he would be a great player. As you do...
Cobbo Posted 4 September 2010 Posted 4 September 2010 Nice to know... Is it? Anyway, that Rooney hasn't become as good as I thought he would have by now.
J.Lisemore Posted 5 September 2010 Posted 5 September 2010 Is it? Anyway, that Rooney hasn't become as good as I thought he would have by now. I agree. IMO I think hes over-hyped.

Phube Posted 5 September 2010 Posted 5 September 2010 Can't Premiership player keep there fellas in their pants?
Zingari Posted 5 September 2010 Posted 5 September 2010 Can't Premiership player keep there fellas in their pants? perhaps no one explained to him that being "given a free role " was meant to apply on the football field only
C-man Posted 5 September 2010 Posted 5 September 2010 Oh look, the media trying to destroy England as usual. Couldn't they have waited until after the internationals? He wouldn't miss any Manchester United games for this shit. Either way, scumbag.
