Lineker's Left Foot Posted 5 January 2006 Posted 5 January 2006 My most over-rated band has to be I'M AFRAID is Oasis .... who have IMO been poor for the last 10 years - only 2 good albums and no real progression. Afraid The Cure absolutely rip them apart as a group.
Head Honcho Posted 5 January 2006 Posted 5 January 2006 Apart from the obvious boy and girl bands: The Darkness and most RnB bands
shen Posted 5 January 2006 Posted 5 January 2006 Just giving my opinion. Which is fine by me still clueless though...

If roger was here.... he'd feint at that statement Personally, i think Oasis are awesome, Gallagher's vocals are fantastic and the solos and lyrics are amazing.
Libertine Posted 5 January 2006 Posted 5 January 2006 If roger was here.... he'd feint at that statement Personally, i think Oasis are awesome, Gallagher's vocals are fantastic and the solos and lyrics are amazing. Same. Not sure about some of the lyrics though. The have improved drastically since they started though. Some of the lyrics on Definately Maybe are awful! "She done it with the doctor, in a helicopter"
Libertine Posted 5 January 2006 Posted 5 January 2006 Definately Franz. Quite liked them at first, but I just find them so dull now.
Libertine Posted 5 January 2006 Posted 5 January 2006 Hard Fi. Oh lord yes. What the hell is the big deal with them?! Also, Metallica.
The People's Hero Posted 5 January 2006 Posted 5 January 2006 Oh lord yes. What the hell is the big deal with them?! Also, Metallica. We'll get flamed here. But you're spot on.
Nationwider Posted 5 January 2006 Posted 5 January 2006 We'll get flamed here. But you're spot on. I'll join the Metallica-are-overrated movement. And the Franz Ferdinand one as well. IMHO, Faithless are well overrated. Exactly how many hits can you get one-fingered from a Bontempi organ? Flame away.
Bob666 Posted 5 January 2006 Posted 5 January 2006 Kulashaker....... Bucks Fizz......... Osmonds............
The People's Hero Posted 5 January 2006 Posted 5 January 2006 Kulashaker? My god they WERE shite weren't they!?
MC Prussian Posted 6 January 2006 Posted 6 January 2006 Bon Jovi. Seconded. In this category: - Oasis - U2 (at least in the past 10 years) - The Rolling Stones - Nickelback - Coldplay with the latest release - Franz Ferdinand
IDEA OR IKEA Posted 6 January 2006 Posted 6 January 2006 Seconded. In this category: - Oasis - U2 (at least in the past 10 years) - The Rolling Stones - Nickelback - Coldplay with the latest release - Franz Ferdinand Beatles/Monkeys/Mad-onna
Alexikokopops Posted 6 January 2006 Posted 6 January 2006 Seconded. In this category: - Oasis - U2 (at least in the past 10 years) - The Rolling Stones - Nickelback - Coldplay with the latest release - Franz Ferdinand Nickleback can't be overrated, nobody rates them in the first place.
