Don't follow me on the King George race. I honestly think dynaste and al ferof look short and don't think any of the remaining runners can be ruled out of it. I'm not putting my money where my mouth is but dynaste is a class horse and will like the ground. Riverside theatre I think will go well and I think the blinkers will help.

Through the card at Kempton - just for fun and with 2 selections. My thoughts on the likely winner and my 'value' choice (ie I would probably back the second selection e/w)

 

12.50 Dubai Prince         Fascino Rustico (20/1 e/w)   Did like gunner fifteen but note its doubtful to run.

1.25   Urbain de Sivola     Oscar Magic (12/1 e/w) Think Oscar Magic looks a nice bet here, dropped back in trip and does jump well, but the price is a little short for me with the 2 favourites and indeed Western Warhorse having shown a lot more.

2.00 Just a Par (NAP) - Would be surprised if this is beaten. Interested to see how Green Flag goes though. 

2.35 MTOY for me. Should be a cracker of a race. Grumeti overpriced at 20s and 25s some places as an e/w shout. I don't understand how Chapel House even gets an entry here, but 500/1 !!! Every other runner would probably need to fall I guess. 

3.10 Dynaste (4/1) but again will be a good race to watch. I've actually backed Riverside Theatre, now with blinkers at 33/1 e/w earlier, which is too big for a cracking horse, who has a second in this race I believe (last year?). Plenty of possibles to win this one though. Have heard Al Ferof not 100% fit and at best yet - but we shall see. My colleague who knows his stuff likes Menorah and I've seen a lot of positive stuff coming out recently on Mount Benbulben, who's apparently jumping a lot better. 

3.45 Beyeh (7/1), Big Casino e/w at 16/1. Purely as Beyeh is in my opinion simply a class better than most of these, but still has that to prove and the ground is possibly a worry. Big Casino is a horse I like (won me money before!))

Not going today, but a lot of my mates are and I'm feeling a bit jealous!

If I was to go through the whole card my picks would be

12:50 - Dubai Prince 5/2. Amore Alato 14/1 EW

1:25 - Ericht 7/2. Loose Chips 9/1 EW

2:00 - Just A Par 4/7 - not worth a bet unless you're gonna go big or double it up.

2:35 - My Tent Or Yours 6/5

3:10 - Dynaste 4/1 Riverside Theatre EW 22/1

3:45 - Twelve Roses 11/4 & Big Casino EW 14/1.

Not telling you these are what you should back, but they would be mine if I was having a go.

EDIT - I'd genuinely not even looked at TPH's picks as they'd have influenced mine in some way, quite a few similar there though.

Odds on shots going down all over the place in the racing. Big names in big races, too. Just A Par (8/13), The New One (5/6), Champagne Fever (1/2) & Analifet (1/4) to name a few. Glad I had a few fun 50ps and quid here and there and didn't go big and get properly involved or I'd probably have lost most my Crimbo dollas already lol. 

 

Rooney helped keep my footy acca on track. 

 

United, Arsenal, Chelsea, Everton & Wolves. All very odds on but the 5 fold pays 7s. 


Knockers FGS & 2-1 to us, too. We're due a 2-1, been a few games since we hit that!
