It doesn't look like the original design either, the original design had the pinestripes closer together and the collar wasn't so striking. Ricey Posted 2 June 2006 Share Posted 2 June 2006 I'm amazed how different it looks to the original design. The Alliance & Leicester but looks so tacky, surely they can't keep it like that?! It wouldn't look as bad if the blue was the same colour, sums up our club perfectly. I have no idea what they've tried to do with the pin stripes, they should of just done as orginally designed and as used in the 80's. I'm glad however that all the yellow has gone.
