We as fans need to do something now...Protests, e.t.c, Even if Milan isn't intrested anymore i'm sick and tired of this board...Fair enough if we get the board out there is no-one to replace them but we need to get this board out!

Problem, if the board where "gotten rid of" there simply is no one else who wants to manage the basket case that LCFC has become, whats more the current shareholders will still have the say in who makes up the board... so really you need new shareholder(s) and at the moment the only potential new shareholder is MM, so thats not only you best bet for new leadership at the club, its your only chance, we're not going to be lucky like Derby and out of thin air get a group of wealthy fans investing in the club and providing fresh new leadership and cash... MM is the club's best shot for its long term future, is it a gamble, of course (!) but the current forcast is nothing rosy as relegation is a very real prospect under current circumstances in the short or medium term.

Shouting board out is easy, anybody can do it.

So what do you believe they should do differently?

Learn how to run a business.

i'm no board-suck-up, but lets not forget they're running a very very tight ship with very very little money coming in.

Qualified at running a fast food business and a telecoms business yes and IIRC cable and wireless was hardly booming.

I wouldn't get a plumber to look at my electrics, would you?

That's not the way others on the board see it.

He also retains a significant shareholding which may well be used (along with others) to block Mandy's bid.

But as he's in Sydney right now the details of why he's a little widdled off with our would-be Serb suitor may not emerge publicly for at least another week.

You know exactly why he is widdled off and so do I, although we'll be polar opposites in acknowledging his reasons.

He doesn't like MM and he doesn't like the fact that MM's guys have won the press over so easily, but when they have done f'ck all they've go no grounds for complaints.

As a collective their tenure has seen us slip from bad to worse and it is time to go, his shareholding isn't going to be significant enough to block anything, even with another couple on his side.

So you think that an ex Chairman of McDonalds UK & an ex Cable & Wireless Chief Exec aren't qualified??

It depends on why they are actually "ex"

Obviously not.

And as others have pointed out it easy enough to say a business is a business but would you really get a plumber to look at electrics and why exactly is he an "ex" of those companies? Although on that point he could simply have just left by his own accord but maybe not...

I believe he's an ex Mcdonalds because we was offered and refused promotion because it meant living in the USA and he didn't want to uproot his family.

Blanderson's report

Milan Mandaric's takeover of Leicester City is close to completion and he could be in charge in about two weeks.

The Leicester Mercury understands the club's board has agreed to accept his revised terms - another green light for the Serbian millionaire, who amended his earlier offer in the light of added financial burdens which emerged in the due diligence process.

The original extraordinary general meeting of shareholders in mid-November approved the proposals, but the slow legal process left many fearing Mandaric might find his patience tested to breaking point.

At one stage it was felt his amended bid might not find favour with City, but while the terms are what a source close to the club called "significantly different" from the first time, the deal is very much on. The overall amount of the takeover is still about £25 million.

It is understood that it is the schedule of payments to shareholders which has been changed.

The board is confident that, by backing this latest Mandaric move, it can convince the rest of the shareholders, the majority of whom are in favour of Mandaric taking over, that this remains the best deal for the club.

The long, drawn-out process which has been frustrating for both parties, is now set to gather pace as it enters the finishing stretch. The Mercury understands there will be no need to call another extraordinary general meeting to rubber-stamp the takeover, which means delays should now be kept to a minimum.

City are confident that Mandaric will take over before the transfer window, which opened yesterday, closes at the end of this month, enabling City manager Robert Kelly to strengthen a squad which, after a good run, has lost its way again with two successive defeats.

There is every chance that Mandaric, who is out of the country until next Sunday and so will miss Saturday's FA Cup third round home tie with Fulham, will be in a controlling position by the next game, the trip to Colchester the following week.

That will come as a relief to those at City who were fearing for the future of the club, both financially and on the playing side.
