So what are the odds on it being delayed a further week?

Quite high i reckon

they've got lawyers who i bet are on a load for this deal, and the lawyers keeping fookin it up with all the "laws" and stuff

Think the biggest issue is that we never get to know the truth.

I Don't care if its milan or anyone else. Though it is plainly obvious that the current bunch can't take us any further else they would not have asked for investment.

Just needs to be sorted and then we can get back on with the most important thingm which is football.

Don't want to sound negative, but I've got a bad, bad feeling!!!!!!

Sorry Guys, I WILL get the hang of this!!

farce (countable and uncountable; plural farces)

1. (uncountable) A style of humor marked by broad improbabilities with little regard to regularity or method; compare sarcasm

2. (countable) A motion picture or play featuring this style of humor.

The farce that we saw last night had us laughing and shaking our heads at the same time.

3. (uncountable) A situation abounding with ludicrous incidents

The first month of labor negotiations were a farce.

4. (uncountable) A ridiculous or empty show

The political arena is a mere farce, with all sorts of fools trying to grab power.

EASY GUYS HAVE PATIENCE THIS DEAL WILL GO THROUGH. EVEN IF IT'S TO LATE WITH THE TRANSFER WINDOW CLOSING, WE CAN STILL GO ON A SPENDING SPREE IN THE SUMMER.

I don't like the sound of this Johnstone guy spouting his mouth off and causing more hassle with an already delayed take-over. He has every right to not agree with the proposed deal, but does he really need to go public with it at this moment in time? If he feels that strongly about it shouldn't go through, then he should contact the people who matter individually and voice his opinions to them (the shareholders). Allow them to make up their own mind without having to make it by judging what's printed in the media and what comes with that (the backlash).

I fear that if this causes a real stir, that MM will just **** off. He's probably spent nearly a million notes on lawyers and due dilligance and he won't want to walk away from this deal a million lighter and no new club. But, he could make that million back pretty quickly if he really needed to and he will not want to get involved in a media battle with some ex-director who has spent the past 3 weeks in Oz, yet is DESPERATE to air his views on why the deal is dodgy, etc.

That's my take on it anyway. I'm very concerned that MM will finally concede that we're a poisoned chalice and we'll be left with a Foxes Trust that nobody trusts, a local paper that's a joke and divided from the club and a board that's left in limbo, but with still no investment. If that happens, I fear for this club.

Stay strong Milan and wrap this fukker up this week, lad.

The way this takeover has dragged out is embarrassing. Everyone at the club who has been involved should be ashamed of themselves. Look at the god awful situation we’re and still we’ve got a man knocking at the door saying I want to buy players before the end of January but still nothing has happened! Each day that passes and the deal hasn’t been completed makes me cringe.

Complete shambles

Complete shambles

I couldn`t agree more.

I wouldnt be asking this soft lot to even a range a pi$$-up in a brewery. Its dragging its heels so long its becoming tedious. I would obviously want to make sure no stone is unturned when someone wants to buy a club but this length of time is making think that there is some other motive in place by the people arranging the sale.

BTW, I know its old news and its "clubcall" but they reckon its Thursday at the earliest..

Latest Bill Anderson/Milan Mandaric propaganda:

Mandaric unhappy at delays

By Bill Anderson

Leicester City could have missed out on three transfer targets because of the takeover delays which Milan Mandaric today described as "ridiculous".

The deal should have been finalised last week, which was still later than expected.

With the transfer window set to close in 10 days' time, Mandaric's aim to strengthen the City squad is under severe time pressure.

He said: "It is becoming a bit ridiculous now. January is going by and when I look at what needs to be done it is very frustrating.

"In fact, I have lost three transfer targets I had an eye on who might have made a difference. It has taken four months already, I could have bought a London bridge in that time!

"It is still in the hands of the lawyers and I don't want to point the finger at anyone.

"Let's be patient. There are still a few things to be done over the next couple of days and I am optimistic it will finally all be over."

City share Mandaric's optimism and confirmed it was the final legal touches which are all that remains to be settled with more legal meetings tomorrow.

There had been suggestions in some quarters that the takeover bid was not all it seemed. But City chairman Andrew Taylor said: "We have had all the information we require. There are just a couple of small, inconsequential issues to be sorted out.

"I felt that suggesting last week as the end of it was a bit unrealistic but we are very close now and the next few days should see the end of the process."

The fact that Mandaric is eyeing up new players shows how keen he is to help manager Robert Kelly, but it will all be done after full discussion and agreement with the City boss.

Four players - Josh Low, Chris O'Grady, Momo Sylla and Andy Welsh - have left and no replacements have arrived, mainly because of the state of the takeover schedule.

Mandaric is in Slovenia today signing players for NK Koper, a club he owns there. By the end of the week he could be involved in signing new players for City.

Thats the most worrying about all of this. He obviously cant be speaking to RK regarding players as the deal isnt done yet so does that mean he is looking at players himself without consulting anyone??

He may have had a chat with RK mate but how is it possible for someone who has no links with a club actually be involved in lining up players or discussing matters with the manager?? At the moment, he could end up like that Knighton dude at Man Utd all those years back who one minute was juggling the ball before a game to cheers from the Mancs to being a nothing! At the moment he is nothing more than a potential buyer and with each passing day I think we are messing this situation up. Also, it doesnt help when people like Delia Smith say that would listen to offers for Norwich as thats the type of "family" club with potential that MM is known for showing an interest in. We need to get this signed quickly!!!!!!!!!

BTW mate your daughter must love you! I just was going through some images on google and stumbled across it. Is it any good???

Last night I had a dream, I dreamed of Momo Sylla. It was a dazzling performance on the wing. A match winning performance.

Is this thing not over yet?

Maybe, but we don't know the half of it, well we know FA actually. Who knows what the 'real' situation is. However I've absolutely no doubt that this deal will go through, MM doesn't strike me as the type of guy to walk away from what is still a top notch business (football) deal. He may make people pay for it but he's not going to give up now. I also don't think it's beyond reality that they have made some plans, hence his comments re potential transfers. OK it may not be cast iron but he could well have asked RK where the team needed strengthening.

As for the book it's good, limited to Sunday Mirror / Mirror extract and heavily tilted towards the Little/MON era followed by the Gillies management but I guess that's to be expected as they where the times when we were successful.
