Daggers Posted 20 January 2007 Posted 20 January 2007 I told you ages ago it was done, but none of you believed me Maybe this is because of a combination of: You are fifteen you have no relations on the board you are not on the board you know no one on the board

Solihullfox Posted 20 January 2007 Posted 20 January 2007 what about the Mushroom to Chicken ratio was it case of 1piece of chicken to 500 Mushrooms or was it seriously lacking in shrooms as well? And you have to consider what sort of mushrooms...ordinary or were they a selection of wild field mushrooms specially grown and selected specifically for a en crout purposes !

From foxfanzine or Rivals whatever you wanna call it! Soho_Fox Posted on 21/1 10:02 Email this Message | Reply It's About To Kick Off -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Seems like - according to RL and a gleeful sounding Foxes Trust - James Johnstone, the Director who resigned a few weeks ago, is going to go public with interviews on RL tomorrow and in depth on the Birch Forum tomorrow night. Spilling his guts? Out to spike the MM deal? What has happened to the media embargo the FT said all were bound by? A rival bid starting to surface?? The FT have promised tomorrow will be "an interesting day". Oh Dear. Still bored by it all but I thought you'd like to know.

It wasn't a gleeful post, we just thought posters would be interested to hear another viewpoint on the takeover, so was making everybody aware it was going to take place
Kilworthfox Posted 21 January 2007 Posted 21 January 2007 It wasn't a gleeful post, we just thought posters would be interested to hear another viewpoint on the takeover, so was making everybody aware it was going to take place I did not take it like that anyway! So it must be true then as you would have denied it! will be listening to 104.9 tomorrow then any idea on what time so I can get some work done?
teblin Posted 21 January 2007 Posted 21 January 2007 Do people who don't like mandy's bid like the thought of playinng in div1??? If manderic doesn't put money in we need someone to put their hand in their pocket.

teblin Posted 21 January 2007 Posted 21 January 2007 even though we have some of the richest men in the game involved with the club they have proved that they really aren't up for that!! But milan is, so the rest should put up or shut up!

If manderic doesn't put money in we need someone to put their hand in their pocket. It is not impossible that we could be relegated whether MM takes over or not but there is no logical reason on earth why Rob Kelly and even his existing squad SHOULD get relegated. As Mr Johnstone has resigned from the Board he (presumably) isn't gagged from speaking about it and why anyone wouldn't want to hear what he's got to say I don't know. If MM's proposal is a good one - and right for our club, it will a good one when examined in public. If not, then we ought to know. And if there was a bigger/better bid in the wings and it DID satisfy the Board's concerns, why should anyone be against it? The transfer window is rapidly closing anyway. We've barely one chance in lots of making any impact this season. Why would anyone be concerned about alternative options, if they were found to exist. I want the best for Leicester City. I don't give a shit about MM or any other speculator. If there are reasons to be concerned I'd rather hear em than be kept in ignorance until its too late. I'm certainly not convinced by anything I've read in the Mercury. Their job is to examine the issues not to take a stance one way or the other and nothing I've read suggests they've done that. That's not a tirade against either the Mercury or MM. Both are irrelevent to me as entities. Wanting to buy the club as cheaply as possible is no sin for a successful businessman. But his interests might not necessarily be the same as those of our fans - in every possible scenario, good or bad, that could arise. However there are people, presently considering or previously linked to the bid in Johnstone's case, who might well be genuinely concerned that those interests are unwaveringly and legally linked to the many whose interest is the long term health and wellbeing of our club. Why should such people not be heard? It's a pity in our supposedly democratic society that everyone else who might wish to speak cannot be heard.
Ajax Treesdown Posted 21 January 2007 Posted 21 January 2007 It wasn't a gleeful post, we just thought posters would be interested to hear another viewpoint on the takeover, so was making everybody aware it was going to take place Blaady 'ell!!! I thought the Trust had deceased already!!!!! Oh no, hang on they are preparing a new reason for not wanting MM to give to the Merc.
Babylon Posted 21 January 2007 Posted 21 January 2007 Blaady 'ell!!! I thought the Trust had deceased already!!!!! Oh no, hang on they are preparing a new reason for not wanting MM to give to the Merc. They have never said they don't want him, in the merc or on here.
Ajax Treesdown Posted 21 January 2007 Posted 21 January 2007 They have never said they don't want him, in the merc or on here. They don't say............they just complicate and imply certainties. Hurry up Milan, and get rid.

Think the biggest issue is that we never get to know the truth. I Don't care if its milan or anyone else. Though it is plainly obvious that the current bunch can't take us any further else they would not have asked for investment. Just needs to be sorted and then we can get back on with the most important thingm which is football.
spirefox Posted 21 January 2007 Posted 21 January 2007 As Blanderson has so slavishly towed the Mandaric line without any shadow of doubt or any consideration of the possibility that his buyout might not happen, can we be assured that he will fall on his sword if it all goes tits up? It would be small consolation for the dire consequences we would be facing, but surely even he couldn't wriggle out of the total loss of credibility and utter humililation he would suffer.
