Well I know that my opinion of films holds no interest but whilst in Leicester for the last couple of weeks I took in 4 with my son.

Men In Black 3 - 6/10 . It was predictable, with nothing new but watchable. Hopefully there'll be NO MIB4.

Prometheus - 7.5/10 I didn't read the most of the hate that was written here, there and everywhere. I ignored the other Alien films and watched it as a story in its own right. I enjoyed it (possibly even an 8). My son preferred MIB3

Abraham Lincoln - Vampire Hunter - 4.5/10. With a title like that I knew what to expect and got it. Lots of unbelieveable action (that is action that you couldn't believe in) but as long as you went in expecting what it sounds like you wouldn't be disappointed. My son quite enjoyed it.

Avengers Assemble - 8.5/10; Loved it. any Science Fantasy or comic fan who didn't enjoy that needs to go watch eastenders instead. As a lad Batman, Thor and the Hulk were my 3 favourite comic characters. Thor has been really well portrayed in the two movies. The Hulk actually was given a heart in this movie. Loki was well acted. Hawkeye and the lass had parts that were a little too large but still enjoyable. I was never a Capt. America fan (too jingoistic) but he came over well in the movie. The bad guys other than Loki were a bit naff - but then again comic baddies usually were/are.

Watching the trailers I'm obviously dieing to see Batman 3. doesn't look like it'll live up to Dark Night but I can hope. Spiderman looks naff - wish they'd not try to go from the beginning AGAIN. The recent spierman movies were enjoyable and too recent to be edited. The Stallone/Statham /etc... movie looks like it'll be as average as the first but I'll still watch it.

Just watched this excellent Italian film. 8/10

That's amazing. I love the part where you see Scarlett Johansson wearing the tailors knock off dress. The guy who wrote the book it's based on still has his own police escort because of the death threats he received from the Camorra. I know a guy whose from Naples and used to be involved in them which makes it even more chilling for me.

Watched 2.10 To Yuma last night. It was a remake of an old western. Wasn't too bad. Westerns are not my favourite genre of films but I tend to think of the ones where a six-gun has a hundred bullets in and it puts me off. Some of the modern ones are a bit more realistic. The six-shooter wasn't around until the late 1800's but I'm not an expert so may be wrong.

3.10 to Yuma was the High Noon type. One man doing what was right and taking on a whole gang of outlaws so a story with a moral.

Around the World In 80 Days (The Coogan/Chan version)

Tripe full of continuity errors, anachronisms and bad dialogue. I watched it expecting it to be bad and I was still disappointed!

It was a comedy Trav. It was supposed to make you laugh.
