Let be be the second to say The Dark Knight Rises was f***ing immense!

Christopher Nolan has made a truly brilliant trilogy here. Not quite as good as the last one, but still well worth going to see.

So it's below average you mean?

Batman. Not as good as the other two but decent film. Didn't have high expectations and was glad. Good set pieces but it is just a typical summer blockbuster with the usual predictable storyline. Still,...good film and worth watching if you like the other two.

Sam Raimi said after Spiderman he would make either a World of Warcraft movie or

'Robot and Frank' and 'Flight' look good for this year.

Batman. Wow.

POSSIBLE SPOILER BELOW

2 hours and 45 mins of pure brilliance and then Wayne and Garth turned up and changed it to a 'Super Happy Fun Time Ending'

Loses a tiny bit of emphasis because of how good its predecessor was and in that you do have to strain to understand what Bane is saying at times. But is a magnificent flick. Well worth the 3 hour drive to watch this at the IMAX in Sheffield.

Looks okay, would have preferred a world of warcraft movie though.

Watched 'Man on a Ledge' last night. Without spoiling it for others it was a meh, with a totally shite ending. Ed Harris was under-used, but a should do more bad guy roles, other than that it was distinctly average thriller with huge (excuse the puns) leaps of disbelief over the edge of large contrivances and plot holes.

Just going to look on Iplayer for films. Can't get films on my TV Iplayer Must be something to do with the level I have. No problem. Started to use my PC monitor for DVD films. The speed supposed to have been increased so maybe streaming will be better.

Don't know whats on yet.

Just watched DOA. The dennis Quaid version. It was OK. Thought the background music was too loud in parts. Why play it when theres a telephone conversation going on? When he hung up it went quiet. Also some of the action scenes was in blackness so it was difficult to see what was happening. Amazes me how all the ones involved were killed off and the police probably accepted his story.

The original was better.

It was ridiculous, how anyone could have read that script and thought it sounded good I don't know. Stupid plot holes at every turn.

Ed Harris in The Rock, big yes. Actually, just The Rock, massive yes, one of my favourites.

Watching Brief Encounter. Not really my kind of film. Can't remember seeing it all the way through before. Supposed to be a normal working class housewife but their accents dont support this.
