dandannieldanok Posted 27 January 2007 Posted 27 January 2007 Andrew Cole Wages and Portsmouth are not letting him go.
Geo V Posted 28 January 2007 Posted 28 January 2007 Wages and Portsmouth are not letting him go. Lets hope Pompey grab another striker in the next couple of days and that Andy Cole wants regular football. I think he is one of a few "experienced" strikers who still look both quality and pacey.
dandannieldanok Posted 28 January 2007 Posted 28 January 2007 Michal Popisil (I think thats his name)
The People's Hero Posted 28 January 2007 Posted 28 January 2007 Andrew Crofts (Gillingham) One good game in ten. Actually, fair point, it's an improvement on the current wankslush.
lcfc_forever Posted 28 January 2007 Posted 28 January 2007 Hoping the deal goes through and we can realistically get some of the following players: Luke Varney John Hartson (for experience) Chris Eagles David Thompson Ray Parlour Lee Frecklington Jay McEveley Matt Jarvis I was hoping for Lee Martin on loan as well as Gudjonsson but unfortunately both have completed moves to other clubs.

potter3 Posted 28 January 2007 Posted 28 January 2007 surely signing an unhappy Lua Lua loaned to us by his good mate Harry is a more probable signing and maybe Richard Hughes as well Hasn't Lua-Lua, got a case of Malaria again, or something. That was why he wasn't playing at some point this season anyway.
Simi Posted 28 January 2007 Posted 28 January 2007 Hasn't Lua-Lua, got a case of Malaria again, or something. That was why he wasn't playing at some point this season anyway. Last I heard it was something to do with him receivng death threats.
Geo V Posted 28 January 2007 Posted 28 January 2007 surely signing an unhappy Lua Lua loaned to us by his good mate Harry is a more probable signing and maybe Richard Hughes as well Mate, they would be unbelievable signings, especially Lua Lua but I cant see that happening. Cole only plays if they have injuries and its more realistic to think we can get him. I agree though that Harry may well help his old mate Milan and do himself a favour at the same time and get some experience for his younger lads or players who dont get a game. Jeez, we may become Pompeys feeder club
Unit Posted 28 January 2007 Posted 28 January 2007 Last I heard it was something to do with him receivng death threats. i thought he was protesting because pompey fans took the piss out of the death of his 18 month old kid.
Guest seanfox778 Posted 29 January 2007 Posted 29 January 2007 paul connolly from plymouth?? he is a decent RB
davieG Posted 29 January 2007 Posted 29 January 2007 Is there really any point to this topic, I think we've pretty well named every player in the football league now.
MC Prussian Posted 29 January 2007 Posted 29 January 2007 David Prutton's free to talk to other clubs again. The Forest is interested.
breadandcheese Posted 29 January 2007 Posted 29 January 2007 David Prutton's free to talk to other clubs again. The Forest is interested. I think Prutton would be an excellent signing for our midfield. Just the sort of bite and protection we need to protect our back four. Seems to have a bit of desire and knows what it takes to play at a higher level. The sort of player with something to prove. The sort of possible signing that we should go in for. Will we though? No.
Manwell Pablo Posted 29 January 2007 Posted 29 January 2007 Is there really any point to this topic, I think we've pretty well named every player in the football league now. Seeing as we don't have a penny it's a pointless exercise.

No. Thing is, he cost Southampton £2.5m. The asking price will certainly be lower this time (due to Prutton's lack of goals scored), but still in the range of£1-1.5m. And I also heard that his disciplinary record's not the best (àla Barton at Manchester City). The other question is: Where do the Trees have that money from?
