Mort Posted 20 December 2006 Posted 20 December 2006 west ham still got that striker injured they got from norwich? Ashton's going to be back in late Jan/early Feb... and your having a laugh if you think they'll farm him out on loan, but with Ashton back your only going to have Aston and Zamora getting regular starts reducing the likes of Harewood, Tevez, Cole and Sherringham to the bench.
potter3 Posted 20 December 2006 Posted 20 December 2006 327 appearnces 245 goals is a great record. Thats 0.75 goals per game.
Manwell Pablo Posted 20 December 2006 Posted 20 December 2006 Yes he's very good, he's not coming here, end of discussion.
Ric Flair Posted 20 December 2006 Posted 20 December 2006 Yes he's very good, he's not coming here, end of discussion. Scrooge.

Tevez on loan
gilesyboy Posted 20 December 2006 Posted 20 December 2006 Looking through the pages Carlton Cole and Bryan Hughes seem the best options realistically and hopefully. Harewood - No chance, it wasn't so long ago he was being linked with an England cap. Haven't seen anything of him admittedly but if this Kemal Izzett is any good surely a few words in his ear from Muzzy and he'd be happy to come. Like the idea of Hoult. That's all I have to say on the matter no new suggestions, just like the sound of my own typing. Happy Christmas all from NZ
Flynny Posted 20 December 2006 Posted 20 December 2006 Surely Sheffield United would be happy to offload one of their 7 (last I checked) strikers to us? How about an emotional return for Akinbyi!? ... (okay maybe not )
lcfc1 Posted 20 December 2006 Posted 20 December 2006 i would try and sign lee trundle what a quality player he is.
Flynny Posted 20 December 2006 Posted 20 December 2006 i would try and sign lee trundle what a quality player he is. He'd probably do well with Hume, actually. He's slow but strong and with a good finish. Unfortunately there's always a few other clubs interested in him.
AyewJoking Posted 20 December 2006 Posted 20 December 2006 Are you guys just playing pretend or do you really think MM will buy the club what with the rumours of a setback and everything?
Mort Posted 20 December 2006 Posted 20 December 2006 Are you guys just playing pretend or do you really think MM will buy the club what with the rumours of a setback and everything? Lots of people "counted their Serbian Tycoons before they'd hatched" and didnt take into acount that the idiots in charge of city would be happy to condem the club to further decline and relegation. But there are a fair few sensible suggestions on this thread for player we might and would be able to bring in with a MM takeover happening... also i dont accept that the deal is dead, if it was MM and the Club wouldnt have gone to the pain of issuing statments slapping down Barber's report, it sounds like breakmanship, probably from MM (which is all to the good... coz i fail to see how our board and shareholders think their in any position to turn down any offer for the club).
AyewJoking Posted 21 December 2006 Posted 21 December 2006 Werent having a go, just a bit worried as to whether or not the deal will go through.
amitoo Posted 21 December 2006 Posted 21 December 2006 lee trundle he would be a good signing but it is the money behind it, the club will want a big money for him, hes like 28/ 29 yrs old so is it really worth it, a nice young forward would be fine i.e carlton cole. we need someone would has experience and can finish, Kamal Izzet is a leicester city fan, and he would love to come here because i've seen him around leicester a few times with muzzy, and muzzy will of course make sure he would come here.
MC Prussian Posted 21 December 2006 Posted 21 December 2006 Bosko Balaban (28, FC Bruges) ST Mohamed Camara (24, Ethnikos Asteras) MF Jason Culina (26, PSV Eindhoven) MF Fabrice Ehret (27, 1. FC Cologne) DF Rune Lange (29, Club Bruges) ST Léonardo (23, Ajax Amsterdam) ST Goran Lovré (24, FC Groningen) MF John O'Brien (29, Chivas USA) MF Brian Priske (29, Club Bruges) MF Just to name a few loan options.
Mort Posted 21 December 2006 Posted 21 December 2006 Werent having a go, just a bit worried as to whether or not the deal will go through. No worries, we're all worried bout the deal going through or not, and if it all falls through there are still plenty of lose bricks where Filbo use to be and plenty of glass windows behind the west stand

amitoo Posted 21 December 2006 Posted 21 December 2006 One major factor is all the players we have that aren't performing better start doing so because hopefully when the MM takeover is complete there gonna be shown the door so they better start impressing now before its too late, Milan is not going to put in millions to watch Whack players like hughes and sylla go no where with the ball, he doesnt want the club to move each week from 19th to 18th and then back to 19th he wants the club to go to higher places as soon as possible so RK better start grinding the results and he has got two already on the bounce a 3rd would be great xmas prezzie for us and a great way to try keep his job, What RK needs is a experience background like he did last year when that ray dude came to help him out. regarding transfers come on Kamal Izzet is the man
Mort Posted 21 December 2006 Posted 21 December 2006 What RK needs is a experience background like he did last year when that ray dude came to help him out. Frankly what RK needs is a long jump and a short stop... and what City needs is the half decent manager we've been missing since the MON, Adams was the last one with a clue (even taken into acount his percant for signing pensioners )
amitoo Posted 21 December 2006 Posted 21 December 2006 Well Adams did pretty well at the club, his signings were that great but he had 6games with us in the premiership and then in the championship he got us stright back up, his buys in the top league were decent signings i.e les fred, m.bent, ben thacther. all good players at good clubs so i think it was more of the team not clicking. We do need a manager with experience i think the best man for the job would be either the old chelsea boss if MM comes in, I dont know how to spell his name
