MC Prussian Posted 19 December 2006 Posted 19 December 2006 What do you reckon? Will we able achieve the impossible and steal 3 points? Cardiff's on a low form recently and with our two successive wins in pocket, a "miracle on grass" is what I wish for, like the way we trashed Sheffield United last season. 3-2 to us.
Flynny Posted 19 December 2006 Posted 19 December 2006 I think 2-1, but which team to I don't know. Hull thrashed them 4-1, but that could just make them angry and set for revenge. On the otherhand their confidence could be at rock bottom. I just don't know.
Ric Flair Posted 19 December 2006 Posted 19 December 2006 I think Cardiff probably over-achieved a bit at the start of the season. They are a decent team, but not as strong as some of the teams at this level. The loss of Koumas and Jerome can't have been nice, although Chopra has been scoring frequently. I see no reason why we can't give them a run for their money on saturday, I can see Hume and Purse having a good battle. Scimeca will probably make a mockery of our lightweight midfield, but if Williams can raise his game then that could be the area that's either wins it or loses it for either team. Joe Ledley is due a stormer of a game aswell, unless he's injured of course. I think Porter will take some stopping at the minute, another goal?
Manwell Pablo Posted 19 December 2006 Posted 19 December 2006 This is a bit early for a match thread aint it?
potter3 Posted 19 December 2006 Posted 19 December 2006 If we can keep Chopra quiet we have a chance. He has scored or assisted 20 out their 34 goals, plus their confidence should be low. PS Isn't the match on Saturday though? PPS Henderson made the team of the weeek.
Matt Posted 19 December 2006 Posted 19 December 2006 This is a bit early for a match thread aint it? People were moaning when people started the threads the night before a match....4 Days before a match I think thats worthey of being deleted! You can't possibly start a Match thread THIS early!!!! (Sorry no-ones been moaning for a good 5 minutes...it was only a matter of time!)

Matt Posted 19 December 2006 Posted 19 December 2006 Indeed, but fancy it being you, the resident non-moaner. Ah i've been overshadowed by the excessive moaning and moaners on here for a good couple of weeks recently!
mancunianfox Posted 19 December 2006 Posted 19 December 2006 Better than another takeover thread. Besides, I don't get to many matches so you can hype this one as much as you want as I'm really looking forward to Saturday.
surrifox Posted 19 December 2006 Posted 19 December 2006 Good time to play them but we are generally $hi*e at Christmas
Matt Posted 19 December 2006 Posted 19 December 2006 Good time to play them but we are generally $hi*e at Christmas most of the time

And I remember this particular thread speaking of Leicester City fans as "moaners". Let's moan about the moaners, so that more moaners can jump the moan-a-moan bandwagon. Spot on!!!
bold_fox Posted 19 December 2006 Posted 19 December 2006 Weso to start tonight ? Be a good idea i think. Then we get to see if he's properly recovered from his injuries. If he hasn't he can be subbed. Never thought it was a good idea to have 50% fit players ont he bench!

Manwell Pablo Posted 19 December 2006 Posted 19 December 2006 We play Saturday not tonight! This is why a I was against this Match Thread. People will think we're playing tonghit.
London_Fox Posted 19 December 2006 Posted 19 December 2006 I nearly booked a train ticket for tonight on account of this thread alone!
MC Prussian Posted 19 December 2006 Author Posted 19 December 2006 This is why a I was against this Match Thread. People will think we're playing tonghit. I suppose they know how to access the OS or BBC Sports to make sure on their own...

I would hardly call it the impossible on their recent form
Ric Flair Posted 19 December 2006 Posted 19 December 2006 I can't believe people thought we were playing tonight due to this thread. Amazing, i'm going to start a Christmas Day thread and hopefully some presents will roll in shortly.
Manwell Pablo Posted 19 December 2006 Posted 19 December 2006 I suppose they know how to access the OS or BBC Sports to make sure on their own... You reckon? You'd be very suprised.

London_Fox Posted 19 December 2006 Posted 19 December 2006 Is the suggestion that some people rely on Match Threads on FoxesTalk to work out when we're playing? I'd like to give city fans a little more credit...they're probobly just saying they're confused to complain about it at a later date!

Alot of Championship games are played on a Tuesday. Besides it's ridicolously early, by the time the game comes round it will be at the bottom of the board index.
